Historians have no evidence of a historic Jesus dating from the early first century, even though many contemporary writers documented the era in great detail. The Gospels are not history; they are religious propaganda, contradictory, exaggerated, and mythical. The earliest Christian writings, the letters of Paul, are silent about the man Jesus: Paul, who never met Jesus, fails to mention a single deed or saying of Jesus (except for the ritualistic Last Supper formula), and sometimes contradicts what Jesus supposedly said. To Paul, Jesus was a heavenly disembodied Christ figure, not a man of flesh and blood.

Amen! Christ is coming back in ~8 years, to begin the millennial reign. He will destroy mystery babylon (the islamic caliphate I believe), but the rest of the world will remain as we reign with Him. His government will be perfect. I can hardly wait!
We will be keeping Sabbath and biblical festivals in the Millennial:

The reign of the Christ of God for a thousand years (and I believe this is 1,260 years for exact) is also the reign of his body, the church, for they constitute the one man appointed by God to execute a fair judgment. It is fair because the power of darkness will be bound during that time and so the power of light will rule and the power of lawlessness is revealed or exposed. All people of the earth during this day, therefore, have no excuse. Who will stand? Who will endure? For this man will be like a refiner's fire and a launderer's soap.
