  1. @COGICBrotha, thats great man of God you got it but let me enlighten you, the "name" of in the greek means of= out from) meaning this is a prepositional phrase meaning its talking about a name. In the bible scripture must interpret scripture, what "name" is he talking about? Acts 2:38 lines up still with matt. 28:19 but the baptism in Jesus name is for remission of sins, not father, son and holyghost. For example, Im a son, grandson, and a nephew but Im still me! Think about it! God Bless!

  2. Just heard of this song and Evangelist Lillian. I am in love. This song is powerful cause we all have been there and done that…but grace and mercy is what kept us from not getting the punishment we deserved. Sing gal!!!

  3. @COGICBrotha ok but if you look at that verse you will see that name is singular not plural because if it was talking about three different names it will say " names" but it's talking about one " name and that is Jesus, read your bible right and understand the great commission and then talk to me

  4. @GreaterEmmanuel21, IM WIT U ON DAT ONE!!! ITS DA TRUFF!! PPL NEED TO REALIZE THAT THE FATHER, SON AND HOLYGHOST IS NOT FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS YOU HAVE GO DOWN IN THE WATER IN JESUS NAME FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS!

  5. And Peter did not get the message mixed up. For on the Day of Pentecost, Peter stood WITH the 11 according to Acts 2:14. No doubt, if Peter had it wrong, surely the 11 would have said something. Acts 4:12 further supports the fact of the mention of a name. Furthermore, all throughout the book of Acts, the record is clear. Even in the epistles, particularly Colossians 3:17, supports everything being done in Jesus name.
