Unit Concept, Levels of Fellowship, or Altar & Pulpit fellowship? Can we pray with Christians of other denominations? If so, is it always a good idea?

  1. This is why I avoided National Day of Prayer events sponsored by cities and interfaith councils. In my experience, they then to be driven by "progressive" denominations which have essentially jettisoned all traditional Christian doctrines. In fact, many of the clergy were of other faiths. I only knew of one exception and that was because it had no relationship with the city in which it occurred.

  2. The most important thing is to have a personal relationship with Jesus. Second is knowing that you are a member of the invisible church. At the very bottom of the list is Church fellowship. Unfortunately too many Pastors get the order wrong and get stuck on the law without preaching the gospel.

  3. Saving faith is also necessary otherwise one is just playing pretend church. Proper use of holy communion requires saving faith and there is no other source from which true doctrinal unity flows except saving faith.

  4. It’s true. I’m noticing more and more LCMS churches offering open mass. I will not attend those kind. WELS is better than LCMS and true. The pastor says error but go? Ah clean up your own doorstep first. This entire time is very bad in America and Europe regarding True Christianity. Marxism has got a tight grip in government and Satan loves it. God is angry.
