International House of Prayer | – A Message on Racial Unity | Richard Town | IHOPKC

In this video Richard Town, an intercessory missionary here at the International House of Prayer of Kansas City, shares his heart and perspective on the reach for unity in the Church.

He reminds us there is a mindset that can be ours as believers: it’s the mind of Christ.

In Philippians 2, Jesus emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, and became obedient even to death on a cross.

In 1 Peter 2, Jesus suffered, leading us in example. When He was criticized in very abusive manners, He did not respond in the same way but continued entrusting Himself to the One who judges justly.

When we consider Jesus, taking on His mindset and humility, we can stay at the table with each other.

Even when it [support us] /> Even when things are said in [support us] /> Even we feel that people have done us wrong.

We can come to the table and be family with each other.

We take on servanthood and humility, choosing forgiveness in every single situation.

Because Jesus led the way. He did it before us. He showed us how.

We can kneel at the cross, and become like the One who entrusted Himself to the One who judges justly.

Father, release grace for Your family to be like Jesus.

  1. Amen and in agreement with this Prayer~ Let the River of Living Waters come forth onto all nations that any spirit of Prejudice and or Racism be broken and bound in Jesus name. May we ALL represent him in our daily life in all that we do.

  2. How can you claim to love a God that you can’t see but hate disregard indifferent to a brother you can see….? What did they say about Jesus…? He went about doing GOOD.
If it hasn’t been clear then by the Holy Spirit that the repentance of 1950s 1960s 1970s 1980s 1990s 2000s will not suffice. A new deeper repentance is required. If not then it is like a man jumping from a plane trusting in a parachute that has no strings. In the last days a strong delusion will go forth so that even the elect will be susceptible…(that’s pretty strong—-see now the many who attend church tithe and pray but are unable to perceive a fraud). But Jesus has given the way out. But this will require a much deeper repentance is required.
