The Law is among the most important thing to 'get past' in American Chrisitan/Evangelical/Sola Scriptura because the KJV uses illogical sentence structure which veils the actual translation and meaning of the verses. The Law was NEVER GIVEN to the Gentiles to begin with – the promise was made to the Gentiles (Abraham the father of MANY Jews like sand on the earth? Obviously it's NOT that! He's the Father of many GENTILES (NATIONS)). Galilee was FAR NORTH and the land of the Gentiles as well as the remainder of Benjamin. Even the OT says Galilee is of the Gentiles.
John 6:49-50 *YOUR* ANCESTORS (not ‘OUR ancestors’) ate manna in the wilderness, but THEY ALL DIED. Anyone who eats the [TRUE] BREAD FROM HEAVEN, however, will NEVER DIE.
John 10:34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in **YOUR LAW**, ‘I said, “YOU ARE GODS”’? (notice he said YOUR LAW not 'my Fathers'. And yes Jews really are 'gods' or elohims on the earth and they expect your worship).
As far as Moses goes, when people realize that the Law was NOT given directly from God, and NOT given to the GENTILES, then they have found that treasure in the field or that pearl of wisdom. There are MANY 'hard teachings' about Moses the exile story. For instance, did the Israelite's actually ACCEPT the Mosaic cov't? I can get into much more 'hard teachings' regarding that.
Here's how TOUGH the NT is on the Law when written in clear readable English and means the exact same as the KJV:
IN CLEAR ENGLISH – Gal 3:19-20 In fact, *ANGELS* GAVE THE LAW TO MOSES, and he gave it to the people. There is only ONE GOD, and the Law did *NOT* come directly from him.
IN CLEAR ENGLISH – 2 Cor 3:13 UNLIKE MOSES , we have NOTHING TO HIDE . Everything is OUT IN THE OPEN with us. He COVERED his face with a VEIL so the children of Israel WOULDN’T NOTICE that the glory was FADING AWAY
IN CLEAR ENGLISH – 1 Tim 9 [THE LAW] wasn’t given to control PEOPLE who PLEASE GOD, but to control LAWBREAKERS, CRIMINALS, GODLESS PEOPLE, and SINNERS. It is for WICKED and EVIL PEOPLE, and for MURDERERS, who would even KILL THEIR OWN PARENTS.
Meaning of Romans 7:7-12 The law is good, perfect and holy but CANNOT help you be good, perfect or holy. (GET IT? It basically it means that it is NOT from God, but it's obviously perfect and holy and good according to someone/someTHING else . Below is PROOF that God did not hand down the Law directly and is why pigs are mentioned in the NT:
Gen 9:3 [to Noah After flood] "EVERY MOVING THING that lives shall be FOOD FOR YOU.” –YET– Deut 14:8 “you shall NOT EAT swine” – God does NOT change and do not believe the Golem commentaries who rationalize these verses into something they are not. We have ONE True God and this is why you need to RIGHTFULLY DIVIDE scripture and have discernment. Here's a salvation example:
Lev_17:11 For the LIFE OF THE FLESH is in the BLOOD: and I have given it to you upon the ALTAR to make an ATONEMENT for your SOULS: for it is the blood that MAKETH AN ATONEMENT for the SOUL. (NOPE! SEE BELOW)
Heb 10:4 it is NOT POSSIBLE that the BLOOD of bulls and goats COULD TAKE AWAY SINS. (AND NOW LOOK BELOW)
Hebrews 9:19 “MOSES.. took the BLOOD of CALVES and GOATS.. and SPRINKLED both the BOOK OF GOD’S LAW and ALL THE PEOPLE” – (YIKES! if the Law has to have animal blood covering it, then there’s a SERIOUS problem with it)
John 5:39 “You SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES because *YOU THINK* they give you eternal life. (THE OT CANNOT GIVE ANYONE SALVATION. However. the Vatican says that only the Gospels can result in salvation as far as scripture goes and puts an emphasis on Jesus words).

The spirit of truth led to this same comparison! Fyi something interesting to note too is john 17:3 says to know God and Jesus Christ whom God sent is eternal life vs knowing Good from evil which caused death.
You are way out in left field now. The Law and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil have absolutely nothing in common. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is symbolic for satan. Christ, The Tree of Life, is The Law. You are saying the two are the same. In doing so, you are giving satan what he has strived to achieve from the beginning, to impersonate Christ. Which is why he is called anti-Christ (instead of Christ). You are leading people astray.
God has given me this revelation last year. Thank you for your work in this ♡ I was also shown as well how all of the false religions, mystery Babylon and her daughter are following the law. Islam, Catholicism, Calvinism, Jehovahs Witness, SDA, Buddhism, Judaism, etc….they all follow a moral law to be saved.
The Pharisees are the powers in higher places.
What you have to understand is that No Man knew the Father completely in the Old Testament. The Ten Commandments were given to Moses yet there is no proof that Moses gave the Leviticus Laws. In fact Paul calls the Law a Pedogague which means an abusive tutor. Pharisees=Sons of Vipers (Snakes).
What did Jesus say about the Old Testament view of God the Father? Did he talk about it? Did he just accept that what the scriptures said about his Father was completely accurate? Did he challenge it or modify it? So, what did Jesus say of the Old Testament view of God? I believe that the primary reason Jesus came to Earth the primary reason not the only reason but all the other reasons flowing from the primary reason was to give us a completed correct revelation of the Father. That would be the first and primary reason for him coming. Once you get this understood everything else throughout scripture starts to fall into place whether forgiveness, afterlife, or atonement. Our view of God the Father will determine all our other doctrines. Jesus came primarily to correct the Old Testament view of God the Father particularly that laid down by Moses. That was his primary reason for coming but let me show you. Let’s start off with John 14:6-10 (AMP) Jesus said to him, “[a]I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
7 If you had [really] known Me, you would also have known My Father. From now on you know Him, and have seen Him.”
8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father and then we will be satisfied.”
What a Loaded question…. Can you hear the cry in his voice? Jesus is just about to go to the cross in about 24 hours and Phillip is saying “Show us the Father”. I guess he didn’t know what Father was really about. Look what Jesus said to Phillip.
9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time, and you do not know Me yet, Philip, nor recognize clearly who I am? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’
10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you I do not say on My own initiative or authority, but the Father, abiding continually in Me, does His works [His attesting miracles and acts of power].
You see what Jesus is saying here? He’s saying I’ve been with you for 3.5 years and I came here for one primary reason and that was to show you the Father. And he did not say that he was like the Father no what did he say? He says the Father is like Me. That’s big that’s just huge. He is saying that we worship a Christ like God. Christ like Father because God is like Jesus. Wow, is there any wonder that when Jesus called himself the Son of God that the Pharisees wanted to kill him? This is what it meant entirely that if you’ve seen Jesus you’ve seen the Father.
Now let’s go on to John 17:4-6 to where Christ is praying and he is about to go to the cross soon.
4 Father I have glorified You [down here] on the earth by [a]completing the work that You gave Me to do. 5 Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory and majesty that I had with You before the world existed.
At this point we realize Christ has finished the work the Father had given him to do but he had not gone to the cross yet. Well, what had he finished? Let’s read verse 6.
6 “I have manifested Your name [and revealed Your very self, Your real self] to the people whom You have given Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept and obeyed Your word.
So what was the primary work that Jesus came to Earth to do? The Father sent him to do the primary work and Christ accomplished that work and it was to reveal [The Father]. Please understand that John chapter 14-17 are probably a couple hours apart and Jesus has just left the room in John 14 after washing the feet in John 13 and John 17 he’s gone out to the garden and praying to the Father and Judas is about to come and get him. He who has seen me has seen the Father Phillip don’t you get it? This is why I came to express purpose to show you what Father is like. Father I finished! Jesus came for the primary reason of revealing what the Father was like.
Okay, John 1:17-18 (AMP). Okay we’re realizing Jesus came for the primary reason of telling us the truth about God.
17 For the Law was given through Moses, but grace [the unearned, undeserved favor of God] and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God [His essence, His divine nature] at any time; the [One and] only begotten God [that is, the unique Son] who is in the intimate presence of the Father, He has explained Him [and interpreted and revealed the awesome wonder of the Father].
Why would Jesus even need to come to [reveal the Father] if they already had everything right? Good question. If they already had everything right and the Old Testament already had it all right the why did Jesus need to come to reveal something they already understood. Because it had been lost? Or they never really had it? I honestly believe they never really had it. This is really what Jesus says. They really just had pieces of the puzzle here and there but Jesus was the full picture. Listen in the Gospel of John notice those two passages came from John 14 and 17 where again and again he says I’ve come here to reveal Father.
John 1:17-18 (AMP)

So Moses brought a revelation based on Law but Jesus brought Revelation based upon Truth & Grace. Seems to me like Law is the antithesis to truth. In what specific are in what sense did Moses revelation of Law and Jesus revelation of Truth & Grace different. Is it about different ways of getting saved? No. The next verse tells you what specific sense Moses gave a revelation of Law and what’s the specific sense Jesus brought a revelation of Grace & Truth. In verse 18 it gives the contrast to verse 17.
But wait… No man has ever seen God? What man did Chris just speak about? Well that man was Moses. Moses brought a revelation about God based on Law. Contrastingly Jesus brought a revelation about God based on Truth & Grace.
Nobody had ever seen God [Father] full picture at any time before Jesus. Only the Only Begotten Son who is in the bosom in the intimate presence of the Father which he has declared him and he has revealed him and he has brought him out where he can be seen and he has interpreted him and he has made him to be fully known. Jesus brought Father God out of the Closet.
So two revelation of God where one is from Moses based on Law. Then we have a revelation from Jesus based on Truth & Grace. The Gospel of John goes right in the face of what Deuteronomy says about the Father and you’ll find as you read through the whole gospel of John reading chapter after chapter Jesus is taking on Moses.
Then Niccodemus the teacher of the Law comes in during chapter 3 and in chapter 4 the woman at the well in Samaria. Jesus healed the guy Bethesda on the Sabbath and that argument went on for 3 chapter. At John chapter 5-7 they accuse the man for breaking the Sabbath and picking up the mat and Jesus told him that you have broken the law. Not the traditions but the Law. That argument went on in chapter 5-7. In John chapter 8 the woman caught in adultery and in the Law was guilty by which Moses said and in John chapter 9 the man that was blind. In the old testament it says you are blind because of your sin or family sin. The whole chapter is an explanation of the theme.
Moses showed you God as Law but Jesus came to show us God as Father of Grace & Truth. Jesus and Moses are contrast. Moses is a man here on planet Earth and saw God’s back pass. Jesus came from where? The bosom is where he came from and still was in the bosom.
He who is in the bosom of the Father. Isn’t that what your Bible says? Moses saw Father as Law giver while Jesus said “I am Son” and I’m still between his Breasts and held in his chest. He’s from Father’s heart and because he is Son and not like Moses he can tell you what God is like.
FATHER DID NOT ORDER THE JEWS TO MURDER BABIES.
I agree with the connection of the two, law and tree of knowledge as both brings death and knowledge. However, I do not agree with the fact that the tree of knowledge caused Adam and Eve to be "naked and blind" as they were not truly naked in this context. Yes, the word says they were naked (not blind) and not ashamed, but it was an afterthought for readers of the day (many years later) as they can relate to their physical condition. However, God said they were created in God's image and likeness. God did not see them as "naked" because that is not how God creates. God creates completely, and said "It is finished' and "very good". When God confronted Adam, he asked "Who told you that you were naked?" In other words, "Who lied to you?" I can go on, but humanity is naked only subjectively, not objectively. Yes, they became spiritually naked, but that does not equal physical nakedness. Now did it cause them to "THINK" they were naked? Yes. That is because of the Accuser (Satan the devil) and his LIES. But they were not truly naked in God's eyes. The Tree caused them to feel inadequate, lacking, not complete, even though God said they were complete and needing only one thing, and that is the tree of life (Jesus). They were "naked" (if you will) before they ate of the tree, so the tree did not 'cause" them to be naked, but to "think" they were, and for some silly reason, we still believe this to be true. But Gods' truth is, we are created in His image and likeness, and Jesus came to set that record straight by becoming the "Second Adam" or "Other Adam and we are now RE-created in His image and likeness once again. But, we still live under that lie given to Adam. I have a thing I like to say "I am not naked, I'm in the image and likeness of God".

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Also in parallel, the Cross is the Tree of Life (1 Peter 2:24, Rev 2:7).
Jesus is the tree of Life….He told the jews that if they wanted eternal life they had to eat his flesh and drink his blood….John 6:53-54 Tree of the knowledge of good and evil was the Law of Moses….
Genesis 4 is the background of the last days generation of Israel…..Cain….tiller of the ground (cursed) brought forth sacrifices from the cursed ground…(Old Covenant Israel toiling under the law of Moses) Abel….represented Christ and those who came to Him…Followers of Christ offered up spiritual sacrifices that were accepted of God….. Cain killed Abel just like pharisees killed Christ and 1st century followers…..Genesis declared the ending from the beginning. 🙂
