  13. why was he laid in state under a giant picture of the apotheosis of washington or in normal english, the ascension of washington to godhood. That is a blaphemous picture but makes sense as washington was a free mason and it looks likely that mr graham was too. its like a last acknowledgement of obedience to whom they really acknowledge as god of this world.
