About The Author

zion4131 zion4131. Accepting the Free Gift of Salvation: The Bible says Jesus is the only way to heaven. "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me" (John 14:6 KJV) You cannot earn your way to heaven by doing "good works" "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV) Salvation comes by believing and confessing in the Lord Jesus: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. " (Romans 10:9-10 KJV) "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed" (Romans 10:9-11 KJV)

  1. @ 4:58 preacher Lawson says there is nothing in the Word of God about Paul being locked up in a prison…

Acts 16:19 ¶ And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers, 20 And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city, 21 And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans. 22 And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. 23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: 24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

25 ¶ And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. 28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. 29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

I'm not meaning to start a fight, but I heard something that was not right, and I had Scripture come into my mind that contradicted what preacher Lawson said.

  2. My sister walks in deception of her sin. Saying Jesus has forgiven all her past and future sins. I said . "Knowing it is sin and continuing in it. .under Gods grace? God forbid." Talking of physical sin with a man she believes when "sleeping together God excepted that as marriage "! Told her I wouldn't cheat of Jesus for nothing. especially now we are at the END close to his coming..and I know better. She said" Well good for You! "Then told me the breast cancer I have was because of my past SIN. Threw her out the door not to return. .. forgiving her but not to let her in my life cause of her ability to say toxic words. Family was always close but now can see the scripture of truths about family betrays one another ..the enemy's hard at work.. but he is defeated!

  3. Soooo many preachers out there..and good ones..I listen to Perry Stone, Francis Chan, Tony Evans, David Jeremiah,,and lots of others..but for some reason, Pastor Lawson just gives it so honest..and highly informational and with nothing but truth. He has become my favorite pastor and teacher as I learn something new every sermon. And not to mention he preaches with holy fire!! Love you guys..see you in heaven for those that are saved!!

  4. God bless you and your congregation, Pastor Lawson. You preach the word as it should be preached, not as people WANT it to be preached. As you have said, it is ABSOLUTE TRUTH, and that absolute truth is undoubtedly everlasting and unchanging. I am growing so much in Christ hearing your sermons. Thank you.

  5. I disagree with what you were saying with where Paul was imprisoned. Please read Charles Swindoll article library on doing time in the first century prison. The Mamertime prison in Rome could’ve been called the house of darkness. These chambers word dark and dingy. Paul occupied one known as the Tullianum dungeon. So in reading this I do not believe Paul was in a actual apartment like we would think. It was a dark and horrible place yet he wrote the most beautiful and encouraging letters.

  6. God Bless you. This is for those confused about the LORD's calling~~Read in the book of Psalms.37:4 : Delight thyself in the LORD and He will give thee the desires of your heart. This means when we live for Jesus, our desires are changed to bring glory to His Holy name! We receive His desires! I believe the calling is There after salvation~ for those who delight in the LORD "hear" it. That does not make everyone fit for the ministry(teaching, preaching, bishops, elders, prophecies) immediately~ it takes much prayer, study and discipline! Even Peter wasn't fit at first, sacrifice, discipline, suffering, all leads us to be better equipped to serve. A desire to be in God's ministry becomes a Calling when we love the LORD! Remember~ in Matthew 28:19~the Great (Only) Commission is to go throughout the world teaching people about Jesus and what is that?? A Calling~ no, a Commandment!! We All are not called to preach after salvation, but all Are commanded to tell others about Jesus! There are No rusty swords! Get busy people, time is short! Be salt and light study His Holy Word diligently to show thyself approved! Maranatha, praise God!

  7. I'm trying to use my husbands porn addiction, lies, deceit etc to have it all be counted for joy…the only good thing that can come of my pain is to know that Jesus is my only comfort and help. To then use my pain to find true intimacy with the Lord. I pray for my husbands salvation but I need to walk my own walk. If/when he decides to walk with me ill be there to be his helpmeet.

  8. God used my son’s death to bring me back to Himself. He also brought many other wonderful things out of his death. God redeemed all of the pain and sorrow. Our God is a loving and faithful Father and is the only one who is worthy of our praise and adoration.

  9. This pastor quoting the great heretic, scofield.. i was sadden to hear him speak as if scofield was a man of God. That man was a blasphemer of our Lord Jesus Christ and he perverted the church like no other. All the big seminaries get thier doctrine from scofield's foot notes (his interpretation of scripture). Wake up, church! I'm guessing this pastor is a zionist. Shame, shame 🙁

  10. I feel like i have no anchor i been struggling but now i have a daughter n i feel The Lord Jesus Christ is still working in me n that he needs me to leave my bad habits i can truely say Jesus is helping me i dont know whered i. Be without Him suffering pray for strength to get through n for God to build you for Him from wat ever trial for His names sake so for you who has still been struggling dont give up pray cry unto The LORD Jesus the only that will tell you your not save is the devil o he will keep bashing you with your fault but pray everytime you feel you might fall or even then dont give up

  11. "if your life ain't changed you're not 'born again'" . . .so sad for someone new in the faith to hear some junk like that.
    1. Born again has to do with resurrection, not living a sin free life. Who here who claims to be born again can see seraphs? Cherubs? Well if you can't you're NOT BORN AGAIN…yet. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the k.o.g right? Neither can someone SEE it UNTIL they are born again

    2. Tell me how much the life of the thief on the cross changed AFTER he believed?

    EPH 1:13 –> 1.hear. 2.Believe 3. Trust 4. SEALED

Yet Chuck here believes you must "perform" a certain way

God changes us from the inside out on HIS schedule according to OUR level of understanding at HIS pace.

  12. I don't know why people push God away and then blame Him for everything that goes wrong. We are told life with God is just the opposite – And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28. Imagine that. Having everything in your life work out for the good ! You can have this ! For more info. on the good life, turn to the Bible nearest you xoxoxo

  13. Pastor you should clarify what you mean when you say not to follow after Jesus and do what He did, you should say for salvation, because there are many who are saved who don’t spend much time with Him. He says the greatest form of love is to lay down your life for your friends and there are many who do that in the military and also put others needs before their own, and there are many who heal in Jesus name and cast out demons for His glory, they don’t do it to be saved.
