(Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV) Salvation comes by believing and confessing in the Lord Jesus: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. " (Romans 10:9-10 KJV) "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed" (Romans 10:9-11 KJV)

Repent from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.     God did show up. He did miracles. The rich man asked for Lazarus to return from the dead and witness to his brothers, yet one named Lazarus did rise from the dead via Jesus, and just as Abraham said, they didn't believe (or at least most didn't).

    Some dismiss this as a parable. I believe it's an actual event. But even if a parable, it still describes a real place. Parables might be allegory, but in telling them Christ did not use made up places or impossible scenarios. He described possible events in real places.

  23. Use a more accurate translation such as the NRSV, and you’ll see that the nature of Hell is not as clear as you think it is. There is much scripture that seems to support either universal reconciliation or annihilation. Stop mentally abusing children with this crap.

  28. "The truth hurts, but its the truth none the less". Some people in the comments section say Pastor Lawson is scare mongering, some mock him, some scorn him. I say that I long to hear preaching like this again. As a kid growing up in the 80's this is the kind of preaching we heard, none of this seeker sensitive business that we have nowadays. To all who mock and ridicule Pastor Lawson remember this- Jesus preached more about hell than anyone else.

  29. Ahahahahahaahhaaha i love the hell vids. Mom says this guy is fixated on hell. Yeah what's his thing with hell. I get supposedly warning people about it. But dude it's almost like he loves Hell and preeching on it. It's like Hell is his favorite thing to go on and on about.

  32. There have been many outer body and brief life after death experiences. I believe they are real and the people are sincere. But they are turned back before long and have no time to experience very much. They describe a sense of peace but this could proove misleading . All these stories of leaving the body describe the experience before the trial begins.Man is tried in the court of heaven where his life is examined before that court before the Almighty. The Satan is the prosecuting attorney . It's funny how Christianity describes you being plunged directly into hell before your trial begins or before you stand before the Almighty. I said it before and I will say it again. You cant replace sound explanation or Torah with emotional demonstrations. Windbagging I call it. It just stands to reason and is hardly surprising that the emphasis is on stirring up fear of hell instead of the actual Laws and battle against sin to keep you out of it. In an emotional state of fear tell them Jesus is the only way out and they start drooling for that cross. I'm sorry but there is something manipulative if not half witted about that. It sometimes seems the people are not looking for truth but rather some sort of comfort or soothing remedy. Repentance is valid ,real and effective but this hogwash is a pale facimile teaching that what you do or the effort you make is irrelevant. Moronic. Spiritual stupor of idiocy . In Christianity you could almost say sin or conduct are irrelevant. It's all about an idolatry around one patchwork and strawman of a figure later transformed by Saul's vision . Yah sure ,let's replace understanding with fear. I do not believe Paul's concepts or even the Gospels represent what the real Jesus either promoted or believed. I dont. What it became was something else. Something dominated by emotional psychology. But I'm sorry, sin matters and so do your deeds. I dont care how this opposite message Christianity makes people feeeeeeeeeeeel. Not about your feeeeeeeeelings or your secrets hillbillies. Sooner or later you gotta change what you do and that is a very hard thing. A lot harder than just side stepping and projecting that energy unto some flying spaghetti monster in your head.

  33. Only a modernist and humanist will deny the words of Christ. Where one spends eternity and the location is sealed at that point which is guaranteed by the Word comes down to what they do with Christ on earth. It's sad how many reject salvation by him but start to regret in hellfire. Too late to be saved then. To get saved one must get God's righteousness while alive. No one in hell receives that. They are either unrighteous or self righteous at that point. Leave all feelings, pride and opinions aside and find out what God has to say in his Word. Seek Christ while he may be found. His ways are not our ways, his thoughts are not our thoughts. Its foolish to change God's Holy nature into a unholy nature. He didnt give us his Word by the Holy Spirit to pick and choose what we like and don't like. His Word is meant to change us. To preach is to preach the whole council of God(goodness and severity of God). He is not in our image. He makes the rules. Those who don't want to receive eternal life will get eternal death for sure. His Word is settles forever in heaven and is preserved. Without Jesus its 100% damnation make no mistake about it. To not want Jesus now it's not only darkness in hell but something much worse in future the lake of fire awaiting hell, death and all who die as lost eternally condemned sinners.

  38. The last of the old school preachers! Pastor Lawson is also a Vietnam Veteran and often he has said he could of died over there and gone straight to Hell. He was saved in his late 30s so don't think you can be too old to be saved. God does not take pleasure in the death of the wicked and He would rather ALL mankind be saved. You can find these two truths in the Word of God and you can take advantage of the Love God has for His most Unique creation, the only beings that are made in His image and you can get saved and become a new person.
