Christian Journal | – Peter Was Not A Pope

The Catholic Church claims that the Apostle Peter was the very first Pope and every Pope is a successor to [support us] /> There are all sorts of arguments that can be brought up against the whole list of Catholic doctrines, but if this fundamental truth has no foundation, then the whole building crumbles.

  1. Yep. It was the deliberate twisting of Scripture to gain power. That’s why the common people were forbidden and told they were too stupid to read Scripture for 1500+ years even to the point of execution. Throughout this period I believe it wasn’t the parishioners fault. The Roman Catholic Church hierarchy knew that if the people had access to Scripture and the actual Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek manuscripts then the truth would come out. Today though with all access to the original manuscripts the parishioners have a responsibility to respond to the truth and can’t use ignorance as an excuse.

Now I do understand that tradition going on for this long plays into all of this and a long existing system is very hard to shake off and I’m not going to deny the Catholic Church did a lot of good things such as establishing Universities and Hospitals and holding to moral beliefs, well at least up until recently, but it also did a lot of harm. That’s why The Church is headed by Christ alone and not a man calling himself the Holy Father. Scripture does not change at all but a “Pope” can and does change beliefs and precepts whenever he deems it. Christianity should only be about Christ and not tradition in our lives. Christ was against Traditions. We don’t need “Priests” because true followers of Christ are called a Royal Priesthood and have direct communication to God through Christ. It’s encouraging that a lot of Catholics are beginning to move toward a more Evangelical and literal viewpoint.

This is not meant as an attack on Catholics but is meant to open your eyes and heart. There’s many Evangelical church’s that are wrong too. Often it’s the KJV only Cults that refuse to study the original manuscripts. Not all, but many. So if they only read the KJV at face value the literal meaning to words can be and are missed. My family has a beloved friend who is a heavily involved member at his Catholic Parish in Philadelphia. That’s great, that’s honorable. He loves his church. But he also became a born again Christian and believes in Christ alone and doesn’t give into worshiping Mary or Saints because he knows it’s wrong. I’m not saying to go and destroy your church but rather trust in Christ alone and He will gradually make the changes that are necessary. It may be and most likely will be unpleasant for us in “The Flesh” but if Christ suffered and died for us we should be faithful to follow him up to and including death. We must focus and look forward on Eternal things and realize this world is just an illusion to the Reality of God’s Heavenly Kingdom. God Bless my beloved brethren.

  2. The pope is currently getting Egypt leader in Abu Dhabi signing a document called the human fraternity get informed on the truth. Peter was not a pope he was a Christian! Christian's have nothing to do with the paganism of catholisism

  3. Immanuel, the anointed one (also called Jesus) is the chosen Son of man and the true prophet, of whom was sent to teach us just how we must always pray to God, each as an individual (all alone, in the secret place) and how we must live our lives. Where it is to be safe and well away from the many practises of Christianity and from all religions: – For all religions are led by the many fake prophets that Jesus has forewarned us against…

    “The Lord [our God] stands aloof from the wicked;

    he listens to the righteous man’s prayer.” – (Proverbs 15: 29) –

“If you have ears to hear, then hear.” – (Mark 4: 9) –

“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” – (John 4: 24) –

“Beware of false prophets, men who come to you dressed up as sheep while underneath they are savage wolves. You will recognize them by the fruits they bear.” – (Matthew 7: 15-16) –

“Do not call any man on earth ‘father’; for you have one Father and he is in heaven. Nor must you be called ‘teacher’; you have one Teacher, the Messiah.” – (Matthew 23: 9-10) –

“The thief comes only to steal, to kill, to destroy; I have come that men may have life, and may have it in all its fullness.” – (John 10: 10) –

“Take care that no one misleads you: For many will come claiming my name…”

    – (Matthew 24: 4) –

“Many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many; and as lawlessness spreads, men’s love for one another will grow cold. But the man who holds out to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the Kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the earth as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” – (Matthew 24: 11-14) –

“I am the way; I am the truth and I am life; no one comes to the Father except by me. If you knew me you would know my Father too.” – (John 14: 6-7) –

“When you pray, go into a room by yourself, and shut the door. Pray to your Father who is there in the secret place; and your Father who sees what is secret will reward you.

In your prayers do not go babbling on like the heathen, who imagine that the more they say the more likely they are to be heard.

Do not imitate them. Your Father knows what your needs are before you ask him.

This is how you should pray:

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,

Your kingdom come; your will be done, on earth as in heaven,

Give us today our daily bread,

And forgive us the wrong we have done, as we have forgiven those who have wronged us.

And do not bring us to the test, but save us from the evil one.

For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, for ever.

    Amen.

For if you forgive others the wrongs they have done, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you do not forgive others, then the wrongs you have done will not be forgiven by your Father.” – (Matthew 6: 6-15) –

“Pass no judgement, and you will not be judged. For as you judge others, so you will yourselves be judged, and whatever measure you deal out to others will be dealt back to you.” – (Matthew 7: 1-2) –

“Truly I tell you; if anyone obeys my teaching he shall never know what it is to die.”

    – (John 8: 51) –

“Always treat others as you would like them to treat you: that is the Law and the Prophets.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it.” – (Matthew 7: 12-14) –

“I am the gate; anyone who comes into the fold through me shall be safe.” – (John 10: 9) –

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” – (Matthew 7: 21) –

“I am the resurrection and I am life. If a man has faith in me, even though he dies, he shall come to life; and no one who is alive and has faith shall ever die.” – (John 11: 25-26) –

“I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world”

    – (John 12: 47) –

“Whoever then will acknowledge me before men, I will acknowledge him before my Father in heaven; and whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.” – (Matthew 10: 32-34) –

“Someone said, ‘your mother and brothers are here outside; they want to speak to you.’ Jesus turned to the man who brought the message, and said, ‘Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?’ and pointing to the disciples, he said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers. Whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is my brother, my sister, my mother.’” – (Matthew 12: 47-50) –

“The disciples came and asked Jesus, ‘Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven?’ He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven.

Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, It would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!’” – (Matthew 18: 1-7) –

“An expert in the law, [a leading religious Pharisee] tested him with this question: ‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?’ He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind. That is the greatest commandment. It comes first. The second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself. Everything in the Law and the Prophets hangs on these two commandments.’” – (Matthew 22: 35-40) –

“There is no greater love than this, that a man should lay down his life for his friends.” – (John 15: 13) –

"Stay awake, and pray that you may be spared the test: The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." – (Matthew 26: 41) –

“Teach them to observe all that I have commanded you. And be assured, I am with you always, to the end of time.” – (Matthew 28: 20) –

“One of the criminals who hung there also mocked and taunted him: ‘Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself, and us!’ But the other criminal rebuked him. ‘Have you no fear of God? You are under the same sentence as he. For us it is plain justice; we are paying the price for our misdeeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.’ And he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.’ He answered, “I tell you this: today you shall be with me in Paradise.’” – (Luke 23: 39-43) –

“For it is my Father’s will that everyone who looks upon the Son and puts his faith in him shall possess eternal life; and I will raise him up on the last day” – (John 6: 40) –

Yours always, in true Spirit and in our one given prayer, 2gointruth, Saturday the 21st of February, 2019: – (Matthew 5:14-16) – Where every minute (of both day and night) can be a new beginning for any one of us. Let it always be you…

  4. Unless we, now as adult males (post puberty and adolescence) can see ourselves for what we have truly become, then we cannot see the kingdom of God: – For we are no longer that young innocent and harmless child of whom we once were – We have each gradually changed, and without fully realising it; we now have many dishonest and immoral (all sinful) thoughts of “Temptation.” The evil one within all men, called Satan or the Devil and Lucifer etc., but we are rendered blind to what we are, and therefore God our one Father in heaven has sent us Jesus, to speak in his name and to make blind men see…

“one of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish council came to Jesus at night. ‘Rabbi,’ he said, ‘we know that you are a teacher sent by God; no one could perform these signs of yours unless God were with him.’ Jesus replied, ‘In truth, I tell you, unless a man has been born over again he cannot see the kingdom of God.’

‘But how is it possible’, said Nicodemus, ‘for a man to be born when he is old? Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born?’ Jesus answered, ‘In truth I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and spirit. Flesh can give birth to only flesh; it is spirit that gives birth to spirit. You ought not to be surprised, then, when I tell you that you must be born over again.’” – (John 3: 1-7) –
