  1. “And when the hour came, he reclined at table, and the apostles with him. And he said to them, ‘I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. For I tell you I will not eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.’ And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he said, ‘Take this, and divide it among yourselves. For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.’ And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, ‘This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.’”

  2. When I was teaching in the jails I was able to use soft tortillas and grape juice. Flour tortillas have no yeast.God blessed every time. I wish they would let me in right now, but the inmates can't have visitors.

  3. There is no one around me with whom I can physically partake in taking communion right now. Can I prepare wine and bread and drink and eat it alone in front of this video, or any other online facility that might be available?

  4. These are the notes I jotted down for myself. I did this today with my husband.

1 Corinthians is a great book to read to understand communion.

Do this often as remembrance of me.

    1. Proclamation: 1 Cor. 11:26 "For as often as you eat this bread & drink the cup, you PROCLAIME the Lord's death until He comes." You are proclaiming to the universe that Jesus died and shed his blood on my behalf to redeem me.

    2. Remembrance: Don't forget his love, forgetting it can lead us away from Him.

    3. Anticipation: We dont just look back at His death, we look forward to His coming.

    4. Sharing: 1 Cor. 10:16-17.

    5. Seperation: 1 Cor. 10:21 "You can't partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons."

    Prayer Model:
Heavenly Father, how deeply grateful I am for communion, I am taking it to proclaim Jesus death, remembering His love, anticipating His return, participating in His death & resurrection, sharing with all believers, & separating myself from worldly pursuits. Thank you that'd I partake, I am receiving life from You. Amen.

  5. It was revealed to me in prayer to pray out loud Revelation 4 v11, Rev 5 v12 and Rev 7 v11-12 joining our spirit with the church in Heaven. We are never alone by the power of the word. Blessings and Peace to everyone.

  6. Thank you but sorry, we don’t need to be impacted by a fast good looking and modern video where we could get bored about credit tittles if they are too much time on screen. Godspell do not need to be acomplished with the world, needs to be efficient. I’ve been working as a professional tv and audiovisual broadcaster more than 35 years, the video is nice, but your media is pure noise in the middle of the message. Please make quite video edits where you conform with the rule about a tittle on screen must be read in loud voice three times before to be fade out. Regards

  7. I was thinking how can l take communion by myself since l have never found a church to which l consider the way God wants his children to worship His Son Jesus, But l will take communion at home alone with Almighty God Creator Jesus Thank You for this video, l am sure there is a church that worships Jesus, l have just never entered one*¤*!

  8. We have a small group Liturgy in our home every Friday night 6.30 we always share communion, then a shared meal. Good Friday pastvwe continued seamlessly under lockdown using a video link. Thanks for this succinct biblical teaching. God bless DPM. Be strong in Christ everyone. <><

  9. Can you take communion if you have unforgiveness? Every time I try to say I forgive or try to come to forgive I feel hurt for what they did to me and mad and sad. I think how could they do that to me. I want to get rid of those feelings and fast but I’m ill so it’s hard to fast.

  10. Can’t believe in this day and age people are still putting soggy wafers in their mouth and pretending it’s a dead man. So sad and pathetic. Only a severely brainwashed person would do that. So degrading. Nothing but myth and Medieval superstition. But I bet they will be first in line for the Covid vaccination, created by scientists.

  11. Needed this reminder. Prior to the coronavirus lockdown in March I was taking communion daily. I need to restart this.
Thank You LORD for Your unfailing love and sacrifice. Leaving Your Crown to humble Yourself to die for all our sins. Now I'm washed in Your Blood and redeemed, sanctified and justified in Your Kingdom❤️

  12. If the only way to receive the Eucharist is in the hands, who is the priest or the faithful to blame? If the faithful have no other choice because if he refuses to receive the Eucharist in his hands he will have to give up receiving the Eucharist.
Regarding communion, the law of the church is that communion should be received in the mouth and kneeling. But few still do it like this. Look for Memorial domini, Mysterium Fidea, and Acti Apostolicae Sedis.
