Overall, men hold the main leadership positions. For example, out of 20 Generals, just 2 have been women, both unmarried. The Mrs. made an inaccurate statement on that one 🙁 However, I do appreciate the gist of your message and have enjoyed listening to your sermons. Thank you for your Bible teaching. Log in to Reply Do you have a critical thinking or you don't understand what you read? The hair is given her for a covering in all her activities except the prayer and prophesy!! Read the verses above: 1Cor.11:6For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. = if the woman be not covered (verse15: the long hair is the cover) = if the woman don't have long hair, let her also be cut her long hair !!!! MADNESS, confusion, the apostle Paul was schizophrenic??!! Do you believe that? So, the explanation is = The woman have long hair and is glory for her, the husband like-it very much his wife's beautiful long hair and is also and a sexual attraction for her husband. Don't forget that the women attract even the Angels and the fallen Angels had sexual relationship with women. So, in verse 10: says that women covered because of he Angels. Angels fight with their brothers in heaven because the 1/3 of the Angels falling away from God and have desire to have sex with women and following Satan. So, Angels had war with their loving brothers but they had to obey to God than to follow their falling brothers Angels. So, woman covered her head when she is praying and prophesying and all the other time of their life the long hair given to her as a covering. When a woman praying or prophesying has authority upon humans and Angels for that reason Angels want to watch women under authority of her husband or a man as pastor in the church. That's says the Word of God and that's we must do and obey and teach the others to do. Log in to Reply Hair, 1Cor. 11:15 is a woman’s covering. Log in to Reply You right! God made the man first to his own image, and woman later from the man. Man is the leader of everything, woman to be listen and help to the man but not be a leader. Man more powerful to rpay to God and leadership because God been blessed the man first to more closer to God. In this days,, women are trying to leader for everything but they are not stronger than the men. This is the way of demonds won many women's heart and soul. Log in to Reply Thanks for posting, it was nice to listen to the servants of God explaining sensitive issues so humbly. They are the good example of how believers as couples should go about in serving the Lord with humility and love. Log in to Reply THE WOMAN COULD HAVE STARTED A BIBLE STUDY, BUT NOT TAKE OVER ,THERE IS NO LOCAL CHURCH UNTIL THERE IS A MAN OR MEN ABLE TO LEAD AND TEACH .THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A WORSHIP LEADER . Worship is much more than singing. Why is his wife speaking with him .?There were prophets in the church until the Apostles finished the teaching for the church . The women are not mentioned prophesying in the church meeting only.in the home and temple . When the N.T. WAS FINISHED THE GIFT DID .HEB. 1.V1 IN THE PAST GOD SPOKE THROUGH THE PROPHETS ,NOW HE SPEAKS THOUGH HIS SON . HOW ?THROUGH THE APOSTLES HE APPOINTED . THEY WROTE THE N.T. Log in to Reply What do you do when the husband puts most of responsibility on the wife and the children hate her for it? Exodus 34:30 (KJV) "And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him." Exodus 34:33-34 (KJV) "And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face. But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded." Moses did that because the congregation afraid of God's glory which shone through Moses's face. But when he went before God, he took the veil off. Moses did exactly what Paul said in his letter: 1 Corinthians 11:4 (KJV) "Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head." "But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out."Moses praying in the present of God without covering his face/head. From that we know that actually Moses' face/head shone the glory of God and he didn't wear veil when he went before God, but it was the congregation's fear that "forced" him to put a veil on his face. But we believers of Christ are not afraid of God's Glory because Jesus made us confident to go in the present of God. Hebrews 4:16 (KJV) "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." That's why we, men don't use veil on our head because the glory of God shine through our head. And women should wear veil because they shine the glory of men. 1 Corinthians 11:7 (KJV) "For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man." Because only the glory of God that can shine among the congregation, not the glory of man, so the women musn't shine the glory of man.To do so, women should wear veil whenever praying to God. Log in to Reply The head covering injunction was cultural. We certainly are not required to wear a head covering in church. Log in to Reply A secular and worldly minded listener would say this is discriminatory. However, God did not create fish to fly, nor did He create birds to swim. Both are equally as loved and valuable in God's creation, both serve their own purposes by the glory of God. Women are not lesser, we just aren't fit for certain roles– just as men are also not lesser, but are not fit for certain roles as well. Fish don't fly. Birds don't swim. Both are loved and have their own unique purpose. Log in to Reply Apostles and Prophets established churches. Women should not be establishing the govt of churches. They should not have the office of a prophet. Log in to Reply "Make your way up even onto a high mountain, you woman bringing good news for Zion. Isaiah 40: 5- 11.Whence has this man, this WISDOM, and these MIRACULOUS powers? Is not this the CARPENTERS SON? Is not his MOTHER called Mary? and do not his BROTHERS, James, and Joses and Simon and Judas, and all his SISTERS, live with us? Whence, then, has he all these things?" Matthew 13: 54-56 Emphatic Diaglott." he knew her not, til she brought forth a Son, and called his name Jesus." Matthew 1: 25 Emphatic Diaglott. At the time of Pentecost 33 CE Acts 2: 1-4 there were present: "With one accord all these were persisting in prayer, together with some women and Mary the mother of Jesus and with his brothers." Acts 1: 14James who wrote the book of James in the Bible was Christ's brother, son of Joseph and Mary. The Bible has always said these things John 17: 17. The 'Great apostasy', under the control of a 'man of lawlessness' 2Thessalonians 2: 2-12 has created this error, and propounded it for centuries. "They did not have the love of the truth that they could be saved." 2Thessalonians 2: 10.Titus 1: 16.The responsibility for caring for His mother came to Christ as the eldest; in the Law Covenant of the Jews. He handed that privilege of responsibility to John; who was present, and not to one of His four brothers, James, Joses, Simon or Judas [not Escariot] because they were not present at the time He was about to perish on the torture stake. So John took Mary to his home from that day forward. John 19: 25- 27. It is also clear that Mary was a widow by this time, so her welfare came to the eldest son according to the Law Covenant. Christ's 4 brothers, the sons of Mary and Joseph, placed faith in Him when He was raised up from the dead, so they were present at the anointing of Pentecost. Acts 2: 1-4, Acts 1: 14. But His sisters did not show faith in Him, and are not mentioned among the disciples. Why has the 'man of lawlessness' concealed this from the people, with a tale about Mary's 'perpetual virginity?' THAT is why you should QUESTION the dogma you have been hearing for a lifetime. "They did not have the love of the truth that they might be saved" 2Thessalonians 2: 10. "They publicly declare they know God, but disown Him by their works" Titus 1: 16. They are: '….a dwelling place of demons' Revelation 18: 1-4. "Wisdom is proved righteous by its works" Matthew 11: 19. "Every tree not producing fine fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Really then, by their fruits you will recognise those men" Matthew 7: 19.What is your opinion? Men who commit crimes against children, and receive jail terms from the judiciary, should they be permitted to bring to silence the mothers of the children? "Then, indeed, the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of His mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of His presence." 2Thessalonians 2: 8. "The Lord gave the command, and many women carried the news." Psalms 68: 11. 'Good News' Bible. Women have authority to tell the 'good news' to the entire world. Aren't we glad Jehovah is Just; and we are not controlled by the Taliban. Log in to Reply I believe to that men should preach in the church not a woman preacher. I don't believe in women preachers because it says in the Bible that women should be silent in the church .how can you have a woman preacher in the church when it says for women to be silent and it also says in the Bible that women should not preach to men. I am a woman that believes that men should preach in the church and never a woman because what it says in the Bible women be silent and they are not allowed to preach to men Log in to Reply Amen Log in to Reply I listened for the entire clip, I was unfortunately saddened by Mr Prince's lack of direction regarding spousal abuse.. The answer should have been more detailed.. and inclusive of a clear direction for a believing or unbelieving woman who may be suffering physical, or sexual violence, to create a secret plan to get herself, and any children to safety, first and foremost.. Then to tell the authorities.. If her husband is a Christian also, then she needs to inform her leadership of her husband's unbiblical treatment of her.. Then while you are at a safe distance, in safe accommodation elsewhere, you with your leadership team can work out whether counselling will help.. but if the wife has been subjected to such violence that she fears for her life, or is too traumatised to conceive of working toward reconciliation, then seeing as though her husband broke the marriage covenant in such an unbiblical way.. she of course has the option of staying away for safety sake.. and that safety is a God given right! The daughter of the Almighty is not a punching bag.. and is not expected to suffer ongoing abuse of 'any' kind.. not violence, not verbal abuse, not put downs.. that is not love!! Her husband is commanded to love her as Christ loves His church.. If your spouse is failing to love you as Christ loves His church.. and if he continues the abuse, then the wife is under no obligation to stay within that abusive relationship.. My Mother was Christian, my Father not, and he was violent.. Mum thought she was doing the Christian wife's duty by forgiving constantly.. Us children witnessed bloodshed often, and that violence has devastated our lives.. it set the atmosphere for our lives, and we have all struggled as a result in our own way.. Do not tolerate nor enable your spouse to remain abusive or violent toward you.. and if there is any type or emotional or physical violence toward your children.. then you need.. for their sake.. to leave now!! If your leaving shocks your believing husband into counselling and remorse and true lasting repentance, then praise the Lord.. but don't fall for empty tearful promises.. If you've gotten to a safe place but are working toward reconciliation, even taking a year to feel out whether his repentance is real and long lasting.. is definitely wisdom from God.. ..but under no circumstance should you believe for a split second that being the 'handmaid of the Lord' means accepting cruel abuse from your husband.. Also, Christian husbands, two of my younger brothers have been in marriage relationships with emotionally abusive women, one was physically violent also.. thankfully that second brother left his wife.. My other brother tolerates the emotional, and financial abuse, the insults, the ongoing unloving attitude of his wife.. i believe his choice to stay in that abuse is a direct result of what we grew up with, and that's why he puts up with it all.. What we witnessed as children was not normal, not acceptable, and it provided a broken image to us children of what marriage is supposed to be about.. You guys too can inform leadership.. friends, family, counsellors.. and let the professional counsellors, or your Christian leadership, try to facilitate counseling if you feel you can deal with a reconciliation.. but you don't deserve that ongoing abusive treatment either.. A covenant has two parties.. it has parameters, and boundaries, once those reasonable expectations are shattered by abuse (by either party), the covenant must be re-evaluated.. If the abusive party repents.. Thank God! If not, it's the abusive partner who has broken the marriage covenant, and you are not obligated to stay in that destructive relationship.. married, or unmarried.. Abuse is 'never' love.. it is always simply abuse! Take courage, and in Christ's strength.. get yourself, and any children, to safety.. Log in to Reply I love Mr Prince; however, he taught incorrectly about women being able to speak prophecy. I corinthians 11:6 says she can because Paul said she needs to cover her head when she prays or gives prophecy BECAUSE OF THE ANGELS. So, she can prophecy. Log in to Reply I wish I could hear their answer to this question about women's headcoverings: If a woman who prophesize or prays without something to cover her head dishonours her head, does that mean the woman is expected to wear a headcovering 24/7 since we are to pray without ceasing? I ask because I have seen pictures of Ruth with Derek without her headcovering. Perhaps the answer may be in the Greek meaning of those words. Log in to Reply Bro.
