Named after August 2014, a time of his life when Barlow fully surrendered his life and his time to God, this song continues that theme and prayer in a soulful, praise-filled anthem.     Growing up I had so many dreams, hopes, and goals, but instead of looking at them in a healthy way, I saw them as a source of life, a source of purpose. When August of 2014 rolled around, (8/14) the job I had ended, I graduated and literally had nothing on my schedule for the rest of my life. I prayed and told God, “Hey Papa, I don’t have any plans, so from now until forever, you can do whatever you want with my life & my time.“ That prayer led me into a revelation of surrender, where I gave my whole life to God, my papa, and let him lead me, fully, from that day forward. This song is that prayer, surrendering all of our time, our life, our plans and goals to God, and trusting that He will get us where we need to go.
