I finished the book of John challenge thanksgiving morning.
its an amazing. 90% in feel and story but not accuracy. lets also remember the crowd was also different that he was writing too vs Matthew mark and Luke. ge wrote from a Gnostic perspective so much of the language he uses is more "spiritual sounding" because Gnosticism is based on an idea or world view that the physical is bad(imperfect) and the spiritual real is the perfect side of things. so he does a wonderful job of bringing to 2 realms into focus together to his audience. its a really a great read and fascinating study.

hi pastor Locke, just saw this video and decided to learn about the book of John. Not much for reading so on Youtube l found NIV reading of whole book of John and now l am listening to Chapter 3. Thank you for challenge and thank you for preaching the truth. l need to hear it because l want to grow closer to God and this helps my spirit. Thank you again please keep it up

My favorite verse from John – John 16:33, with Jesus condensing all he has said:
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
