I live with depression on a constant basis. I won't get into all the reasons why but there it is. I look at the world's situation and the condition of our country and it makes me want to weep. What makes it worse is that no one understands what I feel or why. I comfort myself by reminding myself that God is in control of our situation and He will work all things for the good. In time everything will be made right.
You're not qualified to be a bishop. Also you're a false prophet with your great swelling words and perverted gospel. You're depressed because you don't really know God as most people who are "depressed" as you are describing.
Sorry to hear about your divorce that’s very sad. If you believe in Gods word as the final authority though you should step down as pastor.
Greg, you need to step down as a pastor if you are getting divorced. One of God's requirements for being a pastor is you MUST be the husband of ONE wife. If you cant keep your own house in order how in the world are going to keep God's house in order? This is the most fundamental requirement of being a pastor. If you dont step down, you are a foolish, foolish man.
Sir. You need to stop teaching at this time. You clearly can not run your own life and have lost your wife.

Gee, pastor Locke has such compassion and understanding for people who have experienced what he has experienced. To bad Yahweh never gave Locke a dose of same-sex attraction. Maybe he'd be less hateful and judgmental toward the gay community.

Ok I agree with what you said in this video but why the double standards about weighing up evidence? You figure that the men in the bible have been depressed from their (going by what you quoted them as) descriptions of long-term hard sadness but you fail to see that there is very little evidence for Christianity but the literal ground we're standing on and the species we see today are proof that species came from very different, much simpler things. I used to watch you until you started falling into pride about 4-5 years ago. It's been a downhill slide from there, more and more you appear to want to be popular. I think you have fallen into the sin of pride and this divorce from your wife is further evidence.

I always pray to my Heavenly Father when I am having anxiety or feel depressed. I feel like a blanket comes over me and I can give it all to him. I am his child and he is my Father. I feel his love when I pray for him to help me.

You do not sound like an expert in depression or any other psychological illness. Maybe you should recommend that people with such problems go to a, doctor firstly, and listen to her advice. Usually the she will advise the worried person to visit an expert, for example a psychologist. Not someone who wants to indoctrinate them with theological mumbojumbo . By giving your opinion is not the right thing to do. At worst it could make the problem much worse.
