  1. I'm writing this from South Africa. I have been watching sermons on this channel since 2014 or so.

I'm so shattered by the passing of Rev Dr Faye S Gunn. I have listened to her sermons repeatedly, especially those titled "Christ Makes the Difference", "It Was Not Possible" and "Go Home Another Way".

May her soul rest in eternal peace and rise in glory.

  2. I remember being a part of the Sunday services when she preached. The words the Lord blessed her to share with us resonant in this season. I am praying for her family's strength. As a church family we are her legacy of Prayer & Praise Warriors. Thank you Gunn family for sharing Rev. Dr. Faye's life with us.

  3. OMG! I grew up going to Alfred Street and absolutely remember Rev. Gunn!! An incredible loss to the Alfred Street family. Sending prayers of comfort and peace to her loved ones during this difficult time. Rest in love Soror!

  4. It is with great sadness that I pen this for a true role model to all of us. It is because of Rev. Gunn that I became a tutor in our ASBC program/ministry. There was no way to say no to this wonderful saint God blessed us with. Let's all remember the lessons of life she shared with us.

  8. I have many fond memories of Rev. Gunn back to when she first became ordained. Rev. Gunn was truly a gift and woman of God. May she rest in peace. To the family my prayers go out to you for comfort and strength today and the days ahead.

  9. This was truly a Great Woman and most assuredly Preacher! She took over the reigns from Rev. Peterson and lead ASBC! I will miss her sermons. She let the Lord use her. God love her and ASBC as they mourn. Thank God for Her!
