Jentezen Franklin | – Overcoming Offense | Pastor Jentezen Franklin

Sometimes opposition is the best thing for us. It keeps us alive! How we respond to offense is directly related to the trajectory of our lives. Though people will wrong us, we have a savior who calls us into the safe place and works on our behalf. We can relinquish our offense and relish in the sweet place!

Join us this Sunday at 9 & 11 AM EST with live worship and a message from Pastor Jentezen Franklin. Want to get notifications when our services go live? Subscribe and turn on reminders for our channel.

  1. I’m new to the WORD OF MY FATHER: This is not to judge but SHARE BIBLICAL SCRIPTURE from Bible ( known as TORAH/INSTRUCCIONS in Hebrew) IT IS WRITTEN: THOSE THAT HAVE EAR; LISTEN.
Leviticus 19:28 You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead nor print or tattoo any marks upon you; I am the Lord.

Does this verse have any relevance for us today? Absolutely! Anyone getting a tattoo really needs to ask themselves, why am I getting this and what is the meaning of this tattoo? WOULD I DO THE FOLLOWING ACTS CITED ON SCRIPTURE ABOVE IF YASHUAH (Hebrew name for Jesus) WERE HERE? IF ITS FOR REMEMBRANCE OF HIS WORD; WHETHER 70.7, OR ANY OTHER COMMANDMENT, THE RUAJ HA KODESH ( Hebrew for Holy Spirit) WILL DO BETTER THAN CUTTINGS in the FLESH, better than PRINTING on the FLESH, and better than TATTOOING the FLESH.

    IT IS WRITTEN:
Jeremiah 31:33 But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel: After those days, says the Lord, I will put My law within them, and on their hearts will I write it; and I will be their God, and they will be My people., says the Lord, I will put My law within them, and on their hearts will I write it; and I will be their God, and they will be My people.

  2. Always blessed by Pastor Franklin's teachings but I completely disagree with tattoos. I don't need to have 70 x 7 on my body to remind me to forgive, it's why the Holy Spirit is in me!!

  3. You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:28.

I know he means well, but this is how God felt about tattoos… He also felt a certain way about pork too.. but I think I know which one is more forgivable.

  4. Thank you Sir, for helping my thinking and my Heart get straightened out. I let go of offenses, I turn them over to the Lord, my Avenger. I pray the Holy Spirit soften my Heart in that sweet place, and I let go of resentments and bitterness.

  5. Thank you Lord for inspiring Pastor who delivered a wonderfully fortifying message. Adversity running a church which went on unrelentingly for 4 years… I walked because I felt I was being used EVERY shift by EVERYONE. They were spiritually ignorant (didn't want to learn either, they wanted a free pass) and weak… perhaps I'm weak too. But it was the best move I ever did – walking away, like they did in Black Hawk Down when they were on a losing wicket. Thank you, it was a brilliant sermon excellently delivered, what a gift. God bless. x

  6. This isn’t the right interpretation of the verse of Luke 17:1 NKJV you’ve used… Jesus didn’t say “It is impossible for you to escape being offended in your life” What Jesus is actually saying is so clear in this translation… He doesn’t mention getting offended at all..
The amp version Luke 17:1 says….
Jesus said to His disciples, “Stumbling blocks [temptations and traps set to lure one to sin] are sure to come, but woe (judgment is coming) to him through whom they come!

  7. Even I was suffering with these exact questions for the last 39 long years , my eyes of understanding opened today. I repented of my unforgiveness. Thank you for speaking into my life Pastor … I

I'm going forward no quitting for me

  10. Abraham was said to have written the command on the door post, tables of their heart etc. That 70*7 might be your table of the hand, it's for God not against God. You're not scattering, you're gathering. God bless you Pastor Franklin.
