  12. Wonderful message, Bro Jerry. I certainly needed to hear this message. I don't smoke but I eat foods not good for me. I am diabetic and find it so hard to not eat bread and sweets. I need to say no and walk away, and run to the Word of God, my only hope.

  13. THANK YOU JESUS! Thank you brother! This was from God directly to me! I just admitted to my wife last night that I was double minded. I told her i did not know how to change. She said I was listening to the wrong voices. Exactly what you just said! For me to come across this and you confirm my wife’s wisdom is directly from God to me for sure. Amen!!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! May God bless you, keep you, and shine His face upon you.

  18. Amen we are to flee, resist, avoid, hate sin and even the appearance of evil! With GOD all things are possible! God called old testament men like Job righteous so surely now that we can have Christ IN us…we are to follow His commands! When we fail… we will be grieved and ought to repent for continual cleansing. That grace is an overcoming empowerment! Keep reminding us, please!

  19. Thank you for another wonderful, insightful teaching. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your friends. As a recovered alcoholic I can attest to the truth that you say. I tried AA. It did not work. In fact AA originally was a Christian recovery group. When they took out Jesus the success rates plummeted. The ONLY thing that worked and changed me from the inside out was Jesus. I recommitted myself wholly to him and received the Holy Spirit. He and His Word strengthen me daily. It is by His power that He strengthens me to live healthy and immersed in the Word. I am completely changed. I had to leave all old things, old friends, old ways behind. Jesus says unless you are willing to give up everything (worldly) and follow Him you are not worthy of Him. Thank you for the encouragement. It is greatly appreciated.

  24. Thanks, Pastor Jerry, It's a message I needed badly. I'm trying again to not smoke. I will use the patches and ask Jesus for help I can do nothing and I do mean nothing without Jesus. Don here thank u I am trying to quit smoking I pray on it daily & am slowly getting better I hav given up a few other sins it's been 40 yrs so it is physically hard esp when disabled unable to do anything but sit on utube I try spending time in the bible & am watching Christian utube videos constantly please pray for Me as I battle these things I hav chngd greatly & I am a wrk in progress praying daily praise Jesus amen

  30. This just blessed my life. I am going to work on this for the rest of the year ! Sometimes as a 28 year old it’s so hard to not be worldly because of lack of knowledge. Now I have knowledge and I will work to NOT be DOUBLEMINDED but SINGLEHEARTED towards God !
