  2. I love this mans testimony and listen to many of his videos and most of it i agree with and i know it has helped and continues to help many.
Yet i must say that this video as good as it may sound and perhaps even work, it is not biblically correct. With all respect, this teaching of equal submission to one another is false and is developed in order to accommodate the feminists culture that we live in, it doesn’t stand up to biblical scrutiny, ever so subtly its a compromise in order to appease woman. It is clear that the Husband is the head of the woman, equally so as Christ is the head of the church. The church goes too the Lord in prayer with their requests etc, and the Lord answers according to His own good pleasure and will. Like wise a man should listen too the wisdom and counsel of his wife and look out for her best interests, considering her needs before his own (laying down his live), yet at the end of the day he needs the respect from his wife to have the right to make the final decision on a matter. If the husband is wise he will listen and consider her words yet at the end of the day it is his right to make the final decision and she should follow him and support him in the matter, even if she still disagrees, apart from gently warning a few times, she shouldnt nag, complain, content and rebel but rather pray for her husband. Even if he makes the wrong choice, apart from the choice being unrighteous, harmful or untrue, she should follow, and know that she is protected by God, in that she is in the will of God, allowing her husband to lead, even if he finds himself outside of the will of God.

Control is wrong if it is for selfish gain, yet at the same time the Bible uses works like, Submit, rule, Lord and obey, these have negative connotations in a woman’s mind, and sadly because of the curse, it often triggers the flesh. Even in 1 Peter 3, Peter even warns the woman not to be afraid with any amazement at these sayings. Far to often it is the woman that manipulates and says, you are not hearing me, or you not loving me, implying that if you loved me then you would do what I’m saying, and far to many man just cave into this, cause the consequences are perhaps, no sex tonight or some form of disunity that removes peace, and so the man often will just do as she say’s to keep the peace, this can happen to differing degrees.

To generalize, in the past the sin was with the man to be selfish and have woman serve his selfish needs, she never had much choice cause he was the provider and security. But today the woman manipulates to get her needs, provision is often needed by both spouses, removing the gratitude, and the legal system creates the security in that it favors the woman. Woman what to be equal with men while maintaining the benefits and treatment of a woman.

At the end of the day, if this method works or not is irrelevant, what matters is, is it true. This is not the order God has outlined in His word, following God’s way doesn’t mean that things are going to work out every time, in fact doing what is right may cost you your relationship or life, yet compromising may cost you your soul.

  3. 'For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: (he who elevates himself as he aught not – mocks God) for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (He that seeks to 'take, and hold another – captive' will himself, be 'taken captive'

    Revelation 13:10 KJV)
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men,(and women),especially unto them who are of the household of faith, (and OUR household of FAMILY – especially when it is within 'the household of faith'). For in Christ neither circumcision, (nor being Jew, nor being male/man) availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, (nor being Gentile, nor being female/woman) but a new creature.'
    Galatians 6:3‭, ‬7‭-‬7‭, ‬9‭-‬10‭, ‬15 KJV

  4. Those who 'dominate' (put under foot – so as to 'walk upon') others – especially their spouse and family, are in effect, 'doing despite to, (as in 'despising and doing injury to'), the Spirit of Grace.'
'God resisteth the proud, but giveth Grace unto the humble. Humble yourselves in the sight of the LORD, and HE, (not you or I), shall lift you up.'

    James 4:6‭, ‬10 KJV
No one can 'elevate themselves' by stepping upon another…

  5. Thank you for such good counsel. I really needed this. I’ve been the one controlled and God showed me it was because I was dependent on the person. I was man pleasing. God has given me the strength to see it and stand up to my controllers. God bless you and Karen.
