  2. I've studied a lot of behavioral psychology and sometimes I can almost read people. A mystery for me is how many Christian people don't have a happy marriage meanwhile a lot of people that are not a typical evangelical Christian have great marriages with lots of connections and mutual interest. I deal with lots of foreign people from non-Christian countries and many have a great marriage and great families. I realized that American Christian values are very Hollywood based, even in churches. By the way Hollywood has much more influence in churches than the other way. If a missionary who served for 40 years in a foreign country goes to a US church nobody cares. If a Hollywood actor goes to a church he will be invited to stand and even talk. US Christian marriages are very Hollywood. A typical Christian kid will watch between 100 and 300 Hollywood movies between the age of 13 and 18, so where they learn about marriage? Do you think kids in church watch Jimmy Evans ? No. So the problem is how churches don't care about marriages until people start having problems. The youth groups are useless most of the time with unexperienced pastors who just provide entertainment.
