We sin because we are SINNERS!
And we will ALWAYS be that way until we are raptured or resurrected
When we say repent and be saved – it does NOT mean clean up your act.
It means in spite of our wretched selves, We put full Trust in who Jesus is (our Savior) and what he has done as a Free Gift of Grace.
Romans 7:19–20 (LEB): For the good that I want to do, I do not do, but the evil that I do not want to do, this I do. 20 But if what I do not want to do, this I am doing, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin that lives in me.

Sometimes I think that I am dumb!I keep on doing the same mistakes…I always pray that God might help me but nothing changes…it kills me not being able to please God !

Similar to Allen Carr's Easy Way To Stop Smoking/Drinking, willpower method is built under the premise that you have to constantly deny yourself from whatever activity (sinful one, in this video's context) that brings you pleasure, but like John Piper says (and also Carr with his examples), the premise of that activity bringing you pleasure simply isn't true. Not smoking and not drinking and not sinning doesn't equal to you robbing yourself of pleasure (despite the willpower method making you believe that's the case): we have to think of stopping those activities as freeing us from false pleasures and helping us turn to the true joys (Jesus!) in our lives.
Please pray for me. I want Christ in my life but then I mess up, then blame him, then feel bad about it. I don’t want to give up but I am so worried. I’ve sinned a lot and I’ve so many regrets. I wish God forgives and accepts me again, for the umpteenth time. I want to turn my life around. I want to live a life worthy of being a Christian. God help me.

Since God allowed me to know HIM PERSONALLY IN CHRIST, GOD`S HUMAN FACE, I HAVE PEACE LIVING WITH SINS!
Here are some reasons giving me confidence THAT THERE IS NO NEED TO GIVE UP SINNING IN THE FLESH, that is AS LONG AS I LIVE IN THE FLESH! FOR IT IS NOT NECESSARY & POSSIBLE IN THE FLESH! GOD KNOWS THAT – AND SENT CHRIST FOR US TO PERFORM ALL NECESSARY!
# τῇ γὰρ ματαιότητι ἡ κτίσις ὑπετάγη, οὐχ ἑκοῦσα, ἀλλὰ διὰ τὸν ὑποτάξαντα, ἐπ’ ἑλπίδι we read in Rom 8:20 proving that GOD OS THE DELIBERATE AUTHOR OF ματαιότης MATAIOTES. which is in Hebrew הֶבֶל HEVEL in Ecclesiastes 1:2.
KEEP ATTENTION – rather than SATAN, IT IS GOD WHO CREATED MATAIOTES = HEVEL FOR A REASON.

We can clearly read that in Rom 3:22 having a GENITIVE CONSTRUCTION + A PREPOSITION διά DIA DEMANDING A GENITIVE – δικαιοσύνη δὲ Θεοῦ διὰ πίστεως Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ εἰς πάντας καὶ ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς πιστεύοντας· That means FAITH OF CHRIST rather than FAITH ON CHRIST! Paul´s concept here is something new – DEPUTYCHIP OF CHRIST:
Christ has died FOR US;
Christ believes FOR US;
Christ is obedient FOR US;
Christ keeps the Torah FOR US;
Christ became sin FOR US and so forth.
# Paul introduces GOD AS SOURCE, MEDIUM AND GOAL OF ALL THINGS, Rom 11:36 –

See @ approx 6:00 mins in where he says something to the extent that, "at any point when we sin willfully, God can choose to walk out of our lives forever." Now listen to that as you feel the surge of holy God inspired fear run through you and cause you to desire copious amounts prayer and His word so that you can become a slave to righteousness-Rm6:18/12:1-2! I agree w/ his interpretation of Heb10:26 bc Im not a calvinist and it's this message he gives on "keep sinning" that explains why calvinism can be so dangerous-it can breed apathy to pursuing a Spirit empowered life of holiness like your eternity depends on it bc it does! Not your works but by the work of the Spirit of grace working w/in you; "the Father within Me, He doeth the works." Calvinists say they're representing the whole of scripture but they just seem to be constantly teetering back and forth in their sentiments to sin and holiness and I think these two videos contrast that perfectly which is the reason for the comment. I think his message, "Has My Sexual Sin Made Me Unsavable?" is masterful actually. It cut me to the core which is exactly what I needed so I don't say that I don't respect Dr. Piper but I do respectfully feel what I perceive as his inconsistency to severely to call ppl away from sin like their eternity depends on it is deeply concerning. "Why do I keep sinning?" should be entitled, "Why do I keep watching porn?", especially given that the overwhelming majority of comments here are having to do w/ porn! That has been my greatest struggle as well. Just quote Matt5:28-30 every time a lustful thought comes to mind and "take every thought captive" and the pull will be intially strong but get weaker and weaker as you deny yourself and take up your cross. Dr. Piper does have an excellent teaching on lust call "Anthem" in which he teaches on Matt5:28-30 unashamedly which I greatly appreciated. I've never heard this topic explained like this. I've only heard you get saved, you resist sin, same old same old. I've never heard that the pleasure of Christ will conquer the pleasures of sin. Thanks for that

I struggle with sin daily. But I seen this somewhereand saved it for myself.

himself said that "the strength of sin is the
law" (I Corinthians 15:56). If we insist on

There is hope for sinners.
When you die, you are going to stand before God and give an account for your life. Because God is good, He is going to judge you according to the perfect, moral standard of His Law. If you've ever lied, stolen, or taken His name in vain; He will find you guilty of breaking his Law. Because God is good. he must punish your sin; and the punishment for all sin against God is eternity in Hell. But God is also merciful, loving and kind in that He provided one way to escape that punishment; and that was through the gift of His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ: fully-God and fully-Man, without sin. He Died on the cross a death He did not deserve, in order to take upon Himself the punishment you rightly deserve, for your sins against God. And then three days later He forever defeated sin and death when He rose from the grave. What God requires of you is that you repent (turn from your sin and turn toward God) and by faith alone, receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Repent & Cry out to Jesus our only savior today!!! He can save you, He will save you, even if he doesn't save you… Cry out to Him! Please do it today!

Message to all Christians from Jesus through me. Jesus is Lord and God (John 20:28). Are names were not already written in the book of life because someones name being written in the book of life is their choice for it to be written. Are name is written in the book of life IF we CHOOSE to be a child of God and NOT REMAIN a sinner. Jesus DID NOT die for us to remain a sinner. Please read (John 8:11 NLT) and (John 5:14 NLT). Are name will be took out of the book of life if we go back to being a sinner and written back if we choose to be a child of God. Your either a Christian who's a sinner or a Christian who's a child of God choose. Heaven will be filled with children of God not sinners. All sinners will be cast into Hell. Please read (Revelation 20:15) for someone's name not to be found written that means it wasn't written or their name was written and it was took out. Then read (Matthew 7 21-23 esv). Many Christians will have their name NOT found written in the book of life. Jesus will say to them "DEPART FROM ME" because they are workers of lawlessness wich is SIN (1 John 3:4 esv) wich means they are sinners. Children of God are not workers of lawlessness read (1 john 3:9 GNT) that means children of God are not sinners. Christians who are Sinners will NOT be found written in the book of life only Christians who are children of God will be found written and only they will enter Heaven NOT Christians who are SINNERS.

Please Lord help me I dont want to sin I tell myself I will stop but I son I'm a lukewarm Christian pls help me.
I repented last month & have since then rebuilt my marriage, read Bible, Pray alot, & burned all my DVDs, music, or any other sinful items but for the life of me I can't stop smoking or taking my prescription to sleep or feel good. Mind you I've cut way back but these addictions still must go because I Hate them & want to not sin any more but my flesh is still craving these things. God please get rid of these chains!
