My answer is always that it doesn’t matter. If you are hoping to start tell stories, whether it be video, written word, or spoken live, start with what you have. Getting the right tools is not the difficult part. The difficult part is learning the discipline it takes to create on a consistent basis. Your problem is not that you don’t have the right tools, that’s an excuse. Your problem is that you’re not driven enough to find that discipline. Start with what you have, learn the discipline, then worry about the tools later.

  1. This is a great video, but what do you do when someone is doing something wrong continually, and you can't keep away because they're your family? Have tried talking but nothing changes, and I'm always the unreasonable one.

  19. This video is helpful to me. I have dealt with unforgiveness for so long. How do I let go though? I can't see the person (my abuser) anymore and I can't forget what happened. I can't forgive myself either for the fact that I participated in it and I can't forgive myself for hurting someone else the same way. I don't want to be angry at him or myself but I'm still angry. I'm also angry at my father, and my mom.. for a whole host of reasons. But I just smile at them like everything's fine. I want to be set free from these grudges I hold.. Anyone reading this, please pray for me. I'm imprisoned by this.

I was depressed so bad that I started cutting….then a few months later I attempted of myself…I got treatment for boy of the things that I did….but I still guilt for what I did….even if God may forgave me I can't forgive myself. I want to live more than ever now. But I'm still having problems withy past and others around me. I want to get to know God but I'm afraid that I'm going to mess up. I'm afraid of being rejected…. especially because I'm bi and of me not forgiving myself. Please help me. I know that God loves me and he will help me whenever I need him.

  27. It is hard so I was cyber bullied to the point of depression and suicide thoughts and I’m still in therapy still and I went to an impatient and it’s hard bc the never said sorry until his mom made him so I dint even think he is sorry

  28. One night, after at least a year of struggling with unforgiveness, I found this. It was just me and God, praying through those scriptures. I’ve got to say it has helped me release a lot of that anger towards them and I don’t rehearse the “what if I could change this” in my mind as much. I hope this helps someone as much as it’s helped me.

  32. Hey Jon, Can you forgive when the injury is ongoing? The injury done to me had repercussions with statutory bodies – because of something somebody did I got in trouble with statutory bodies. While i try and practice forgiveness – the injury is irrevocable. Pains me so much as while I may forgive the person and his mis-deeds, the authorities do not.

  35. Thanks, I keep coming back to this. It’s very helpful. I want to be sure I’ve forgiven. I still feel hur,t, anger, etc., but truly want to forgive the offender.. Does saying it over and over to myself and God mean I have forgiven? I don’t know how to know I truly have.

  42. Jesus is Lord and God (John 20:28 NIV). Are names were not already written in the book of life because someones name being written in the book of life is their choice for it to be written.  Are name is written in the book of life IF we CHOOSE to be a child of God and NOT REMAIN a sinner. Jesus DID NOT die for us to remain a sinner. Are name can be took out of the book of life if we go back to being a sinner and written back if we choose to be a child of God again. Your either a Christian who's a sinner or a Christian who's a child of God choose. Heaven will be filled with children of God not sinners. All sinners will be cast into Hell. Please read (Revelation 20:15) for someone's name not to be found written that means it wasn't written or their name was written and it was took out. Then read (Matthew 7 21-23 esv). Many Christians will have their name NOT found written in the book of life. Jesus will say to them "DEPART FROM ME" because they are workers of lawlessness wich is SIN(1 John 3:4 esv) wich means they are sinners. children of God are not workers of lawlessness (1 john 3:9 niv) that means children of God are not sinners. Christians who are Sinners will not be found written in the book of life only Christians who are children of God will be found written and only they will enter Heaven NOT Christians who are sinners.
