  1. What exactly does it mean to “meditate”?

When the Bible talks about meditation, it’s not referring to a mental exercise. The Hebrew word for meditation in the Old Testament is the word “hagah”, which means to “mutter”. So to “hagah” is to speak under your breath.

When you confess His Word, it moves you from a position of doubt to faith. It moves your heart from a position of “Is it true?” to “I believe it!” When that happens, “you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success”!

  4. The other sheep are not far from the shepherd. Lost in the wilderness, the sheep find themselves in a desolate wasteland. When you are scared, you hear a familiar voice. That is the voice of the shepherd. He comes and picks up the sheep, wraps them in his cloak, and takes them home. God likened himself to a shepherd. He says: 'I will seek out my sheep and bring them back to myself and take good care of them .'— Ezekiel 34:11.12.
