Dr.Bill Barrick's message on the Bible translation difficulties is worth noting particularly in those areas where the Bible uses metaphors / pun etc.,
It is interesting to note that what it means about the 10 th generation which means never!. Also in the Bengal it is 14 th means never. The bottom line is that understanding the Bible very accurately is very essential for the believers. Thank you sir.
Regardless of translation the Bible scholar must understand why God chose Greek as the worldwide language of communication . Because of its 6 tenses. In no way can Greek be misunderstood or corrupted into false doctrine or say that the apostles cannot be fully understood. But as man will do, he will tell the people such is not possible. But man will have no excuse before God. Especially when they create doctrine that states women are not allowed to preach. Why does power flow through women? Because God blesses those abused by men for the Gospels sake. We who suffer have more of his presence. Losers.
