About The Author

HeartCry Missionary Society HeartCry is a missionary society founded by Paul Washer. The mission's one great and overriding passion is that God's Name is Great among the Nations (Malachi 1:11) and that the Lamb receive the full reward for His suffering (Revelation 7:9-10). We find our greatest purpose and a constant motivation for indigenous world missions in God, His commitment to His own glory, and our God-given desire to see His Christ worshiped in every nation, tribe, people, and language (Psalms 2:6-12). 1. Yeah I've even considered contacting you guys as well for information about embarking on cross-cultural missions from my local church–there are very few resources to reach out to for this kind of instruction/information. Thankful for HeartCry.

  2. As a student I read a book about intercultural reading of the bible. 2 groups of Christians in different parts of the world would read a chapter of the bible and exchange their thoughts. The Nicaraguans surprised their Dutch peers with their knowledge. The Dutch shocked the Nicaraguans with the fact that their pastor was a lesbian woman. Sometimes we need to ask ourselves where "the field" is.

  3. I'm a 50 year old mature servant who is ready to pay the price and "Go". I obey for the glory of God. I strive for holiness. I suffer and boast in my weakness. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessing. I am nothing if I don't share Jesus. "Give me souls or take my soul." I am a light in darkness. My light needs to be placed to shine. I am a messenger, an ambassador. I need to be sent. PLEASE, would you send me? My name is Eric Tetreault. I can be found on Facebook. See my page, Jesus to Ears. Please look into me. I am fully devoted.

  4. Brother Paul, apart from your videos that I watch and following your ministry, I want to thank you for all the material you have blessed us with. I'm particularly thankful that I can buy your workbooks on Amazon for a low price. They are such a blessing apart from my regular bible study. Thank you so much and may God continue to richly bless you and your family.

  5. Thank you sir Paul for this encouraging yet challenging message. I am a grade school teacher and I aspire to be a pastor as well because I think the Lord has called me to be. I just think I have to be more mature as a person and as a Christian studying the Bible. I don't have formal schooling in any Bible school yet but I am planning to pursue one once I'm done with my current master's degree. I pray that God will lead me to eventually becoming a preacher once I'm ready and I pray that I will always put Jesus at the center of everything that I will preach someday.

  6. I went to college and graduated with a BS in Christian Ministry. I am not in ministry, it is the best thing for me. More importantly, it is a great thing for the church. Ego must yield itself to the cross. If I were in a pulpit the focus would be on me or men and NOT Christ.

  7. The timing of this video is so perfect. I am praying to the Lord that I want to become a missionary and I am prsying that I hope it is according to His will and not my emotion.

God do really answer our prayers! This message is what I really need to know. I thank the Lord for using you, Pastor Paul Washer.

  8. She's still too small to pull a sliver out of your eye, yet ignore her own :'(

I'm not good at intercessory prayer, but excel at intercessory life.

Will I get there by watching you preach?

  9. There are over 2.5 billion Christians in the world today… out of that ,over 1 billion are protestants….Out of that atleast 300 million are likely without secular occupation , without disabilities and of a young age….even if we consider a part of those 300 million people worldwide to be unable to become missionaries , let's say only 100 million can go……cutting some slack even there , that gives us 50 million missionaries….165/238 nations are already christianised….meaning we can send nearly a million men to each non Christian nation…and the rest can fund them….what are we doing with our lives…let's go and give it away for Jesus..
Another 1.3 billion Catholics exist….they also can send out missionaries and not submit to the foolish whims of the pope…
