Two things I’ve learned from older writers about prayer is (1)always read the Word first(2)always, always begin with praise or adoration. “Bless the Lord, O my soul!”, “You are worthy O Lord!”,etc. is life changing.
The Lord being invisible shouldn’t be a hindrance to prayer as our life is lived best by faith, even if we don’t feel or see anything.
I just love Jeff's thought and logic as he speaks into my life
At the least we will have a very different opinion of the Chinese communist government !
When you go to pray, may suggest that you simply tell our Lord JESUS CHRIST what is bothering you. Don’t feel that you must say things a certain way, just pray your way, GOD will understand ! From a friend in Canada.
Maybe your problem is that you don’t have a personal relationship with JESUS CHRIST
