  1. Two things I’ve learned from older writers about prayer is (1)always read the Word first(2)always, always begin with praise or adoration. “Bless the Lord, O my soul!”, “You are worthy O Lord!”,etc. is life changing.
The Lord being invisible shouldn’t be a hindrance to prayer as our life is lived best by faith, even if we don’t feel or see anything.

  2. When you go to pray, may suggest that you simply tell our Lord JESUS CHRIST what is bothering you. Don’t feel that you must say things a certain way, just pray your way, GOD will understand ! From a friend in Canada.
