I've found that sin in my life causes me to doubt my salvation more than anything. Broken fellowship with God and guilt for having sinned against Him always brings me to that place of doubt. It's also a foothold for the devil to attack our salvation.
The benefit is that it's a great motivator to resist temptation the next time. God is good though. He is merciful and patient with His people. Salvation is sure as it's God's gift and work in our life. He won't lose one of His children and His true children will always come home to Him if they've wandered away.

Salvation is a solution to a problem the religion scam has made up to scam the gullible fools. It is like a charlatan going around cutting gullible fools with a knife in order to sell bandaid.

Oh,by the way, I don't go around antagonizing religious people, I'm a "live and let live" kinda guy, but this channel paid Google to advertirse, and it advertised to me. This channel came to me, I didn't come to it.
People doubt it because no one knows the mind of God. Simple.
You may or may not be pre-ordained to be saved.
This guy is trying to convince himself and others that he is one of the elect – something he cannot know.
Let me clarify, these calvinist always know how to complicate everything. How do u know you're saved. Have you believed on Christ? Are you trusting in him alone? If not , your not saved. That easy. John 5:24 verily verily i say unto you, he that heareth my words and believeth on him that sent me hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation but hath passed from death unto life. The Bible says that a child can understand the Gospel, Calvinism adds to the Gospel witch makes it a false gospel. Heritics!
My affections changed toward all things wholesome, honorable, peaceful, truthful, etc.
I was steeped in deception and ruthlessness as a kid; life was simply bad/good luck, affections skewed.. ~11-12yrso
Eventually, these softened my heart/soul:
“…be of good cheer I have overcome the world.” – Jesus; John 16:33
(I knew the world sucked.)
"O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him."-Psa 34:8<–
(I trusted nobody, needed to take a chance. Assumed I was hell-bound; so, what the hell? – pretend it's true…for now.)
A kind MAN, (not a pansy) introduced me to these, and more.
Pansies had no cred with hard-hearted, 'Motown me', ugly inside, a sickened, violent, soul.
It took two years … TRUTH.
Again briefly, my affections changed significantly and almost immediately. Ignoring them didn't work.
Hoping this does some good … for someone.

Watching RC SPROUL assurance of salvation teaching was very helpful for me , i recommend it for everyone struggling with it
I wish Ligonier Ministries would instead ask a confessional Reformed minister this question. Covenant theology makes a huge difference. A Christian doesn't have to be a daily "fruit-inspector."

I challenge every one of you reading this post. Do a search here on YouTube, and you'll discover that this false teacher teaches that a person could receive the Mark of the Beast, and still go to Heaven. His position is in direct opposition to Rev 14: 9, 10, and 16:2. There are no exceptions to the outcome of someone who accepts the Mark of the Beast. PERIOD. Don't be deceived by this heretic!!

1) The first gift of salvation is LIFE. (Born Again)(Rom10:9) Not salvation from Hell.
2) Continue in the Apostles doctrine. Be perfect because one sin KILLS (Heb 10:26)
3) The last gift of salvation is ETERNAL LIFE. This gift is our inheritance given only to those who are alive at the end. (Math 10:22) (Rev 20:11-15).
Rom 10:9. Paul is NOT saying we have been saved from Hell / eternal death. He is saying that when we believe and confess the Lord Jesus we are saved from death. Salvation from death is our Pass Over. (1Cor 5:7) Now we are alive having passed from DEATH to LIFE. (John 5:24) Death passed over Israel and they began there journey to the promised land. When we believed the gospel we began our journey to the promised Kingdom.( Math10:22) The Word of God (John 14:6) is the highWay we must continue on in order to reach the Kingdom of heaven. Be warned, Israel died and were unable to enter. We are alive as long as we don't sin knowingly. (Heb 10:26) If we are dead in any sin on the last day we will not be able to enter His rest.
Or, you could just believe and obey the scripture which, once we have faith, says to repent, then be baptized in Jesus' name for the remission of sins, then happily receive the Holy Ghost (evidenced by speaking on other tongues. Then watch the fruits of holiness manifest through you in Love.
Cessationism is the mother of all "cancels". It effectively rips the book of Acts right out of the Bible. Good luck with that, because that is all you have.

That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy MOUTH the Lord Jesus (The Word). They changed the scripture to “Jesus is Lord”

Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness. HE offered Issac as a BURNT offering, his BODY WOULD have been FULLY destroyed. HE believed God would RAISE HIM from the DEAD HIS FAITH FULFILLED.(Jam 2:23)

How do YOU get the FAITH to CONFESS the WORD without FEAR? IT is A GIFT of GOD (Eph 2:8)
So this notion that you have FAITH and you LIVE your LIFE in PEACE never desiring to see the Lord Jesus (The Word) glorified (followed) among ALL MEN is a LIE.

How do you know Jesus (The Word) is in you?

The Spirit itself BEARETH WITNESS with OUR SPIRIT that WE ARE the CHILDREN OF GOD.
How does the spirit bear witness? By telling you to TELL your neighbor to STOP sinning when they sin.
If this is not happening to you, you are not his. You don’t have the HOLY SPIRIT or JESUS (The Word) dwelling in YOU.
Acts 14:22
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to CONTINUE in THE FAITH (Confessing The Lord Jesus-The Word) and that we must through MUCH tribulation (suffering for the Word) enter into the kingdom of God. God Bless.
