The pursuit of wealth and success is a tempting distraction from the kingdom of God, and we would be wise to ensure that our focus is in the right place. In this sermon, R.C. Sproul continues his series in Mark to help us put wealth in proper perspective.

  1. I've heard this analogy a few times now.. Seems the needle GATE is some rich persons way of calming rich people about getting into heaven. Jesus never said needle gate! he specifically said the eye of a needle.. I think your putting words in his mouth, interpreting plain language into something it's not. Kinda like the gap theory nonsense.. A rich person would hire a jackhammer crew to widen the needle gate rather than soil himself squeezing thru it like COMMON folk. They like to take heaven by force. Mat_11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
