This is so true, for if we was able to loose our salvation would not that make us more powerful than God I think that would be absolutely preposterous.

Yet, Paul warns baptized Christians who break the commandments, God's Eternal law willfully and persist in immorality and impurity, they shall NOT ENTER THE KINGDOM. ( Galatians 5:19,20-21, Ephesians 5:5,6, Romans 11:22, Hebrews 10:26,29). You are in my prayers as you journey toward Truth! Peace always in Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, He whose Flesh is True food and Blood True drink
The issue of faith alone, faith and works or works alone could be solved if we mentioned what we mean by ''faith'' and by ''works''. There's more than one type of faith and of works mentioned in the bible. The first is faith in the divinity of Christ and the second is faith in his moral messages. If the first kind of faith was enough to get one saved then Satan would be in Heaven right now. If the first kind of faith is a requirement then billions of people who have never had the chance to hear the gospel were dammed to Hell, but God is merciful so I can't see this happening.
For those who reject the divinity of Christ even after reading the gospel, they either don't believe in God or they believe in a false god. In both cases they don't believe in everything that Christ said, because atheists don't believe in objective moral standards and followers of other gods will always find issues with the moral teachings of the scriptures.
By following this line of thought we see that both types of faith are required for salvation under certain circumstances while only the second type of faith is needed under other circumstances.
And this is where works come into play. Just like faith, works can mean different things in the bible, depending on the context of the verses that mention them. The first type of work is the non genuine action of doing something apparently moral, not because you hate sin, but just because you want to go to Heaven. Notice that I said ''just because'', for we can't ignore our rewards in Heaven if we do as God told us to. The second type of work happens when you're being Christ-like; a truthful aversion to sin. If you truly despise sin, you'll do what you can to stop it. You'll feel self-conscious about your sins.
The only kinda of faith that will save everyone who has it is the second type. This faith in God's goodness can only be true in most cases when we know if it's real and we know our genuine faith by our works(being Christ-like). ''But the penitent thief was saved without works'' some may say. But he probably did as much as he could to prove his faith to himself and for those who were listening, by defending jesus and asking for mercy.
In conclusion, salvation only happens when you follow Jesus by having faith in his goodness and try to be as close in actions to him as possible.
What amazes me is people who want to fight and argue in order to keep their doctrine of salvational insecurity. No thanks! I'll stick with my blessed assurance Jesus is mine! Oh what a foretaste of glory divine!
You can lose ur salvation if constently and knowingly live in sin. Read 2 peter 2:20-22 or matt 7:21-23. Dont fall for the lie that u cant lose ur salvation cuz I know you can. Do u really want to find out the hard way? If u think this way then dont be mad at Jesus when he says I never knew u. Ppl dont wanna hear the truth. I hope ppl will see this and repent for its Gods will. Dont say I did not warn u
Aiming for salvation or developing our love for God? Which one saves us? What then is the value of free will if our salvation is already secured? Salvation is selfish, loving God is selfless. Which is the real teaching of Jesus?
Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.”- Matthew 16:24…Saving one's life is the aim of salvation, "losing" one's life is the unconditional love for God.
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” – Matthew 22:36-40
Comforting words to say the least….cos we all drift from time to time with various troubles, worries or doubts and our human frailty can fool us easily….but what a comfort to realize that we are held on to.Thanks be to God for His love for us….where would we be without it?….don't answer that, it's too terrifying .
I believe the problem that is brought here is that man has no responsibility. We dont deserve glory, but we do have responsibility. God commands us to not be decieved in Matthew 24, 2 Peter 3 and many other passages. We do have the responsibility of keeping ourselves in God's love because He commands it Jude 1:21 says to keep ourselves in His love. Having made us new creatures in Christ and never tempting us beyond what we are able means that if we fail, we are fully responsible.
Hasn't John Macarthur changed his position on this?
When I read the 7 letters to the churches in the book of Revelation, Christ himself is asking us to hold on to the faith and to be faithful to the END and He'll give us the crown of life. He's speaking to believers and He gives stun warning to those that don't repent and change their ways. Some He says He'll blot out their names from the book of life. Some He says will kill them with death unless they repent. He's very serious about believers living in sin and demands repentance and change. So I think Christians must listen to Jesus first then to any pastor who goes with what Jesus says. Pastors of today hate to mention the word sin, punishment or hell. We must preach ALL the gospel.
In the garden Satan didn't tell Eve that God was horrible. He just sweet talked her and convinced her that she will not die by eating the fruit. It's just a fruit after all, just like all the other fruits in the garden. It makes sense Eve… He played down the vengeance of God. The Bible says devil is the same old serpent….. Paul warns us not to be deceived like Eve in the garden.
God gave us free will which He respects. He will never choose for us but our choices have consequences. We fell by choice (thanks to Adam)…But bible suggests we choose Life this time round!
The Perseverance of the saints is not about believers being faithful to God because we will never be faithful enough to gain anything from God and that includes our salvation, the Perseverance of the saints is all about our beautiful, gracious, all powerful, faithful, loving, caring, almighty Lord and Savior Jesus Christ being faithful to his promise to take us to the promised land. Oh what a beautiful truth!!!!!, as soon as I was able to understand that, I became truly free in Christ. Hahahahaha! I rejoice and will rejoice more and more in my beautiful and wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I pray for those thinking they can lose their salvation, that's a heavy burden I had to carry myself the first 2 years of my conversion, and It was really hard for me, because when I looked into what our holly God requires (Godliness, righteousness holiness and perfection) and then I looked at the unrighteous, ungodly, sinful, unholy, deprave, wicked man that I am, I knew I was lost, I was lost because I understood I will never meet God's standards on my own, and I will never be able to gain my salvation or gain anything from God. But guess what? I prayed and I prayed and I prayed, then I read and I read and I read the bible… and boom!!!!! the wonderful, glorious and marvelous Holy Spirit helped me understand the Gospel and only then it was clear to me, I could not gain my salvation, no matter how hard I try, no matter what I do, I just could not abide in Christ on my own or gain God's favor by works. The message was clear, Jesus Christ is the only way, he died for me and his righteousness was imputed to me when I became a believer, now he is my all in all and all that I' am, I'am in him, I've been baptized into Christ (Rom. 6) which means I have died and I've resurrected with him to inherit eternal life forever and ever and ever and ever.
To our Glorious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be the Glory forever and ever. Amen!!!!!!
If you wonder… I read the book of Romans several times, the gospel according to John and Galatians, I think those books are key to understand this topic.
Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:15
What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid (me genoito)
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Please excuse my writing I'am a foreigner.
God Bless you all!!!!
Amen
The core question is this: Are we a new creation? Have we been born again? If we have been born again, which no One of any denomination denies, and we have been filled with the Holy Spirit, then we have the ability by the Holy Spirit to keep God’s commands. This means that we are now responsible for cooperating with the Holy Spirit to persevere unto salvation. This includes repenting and bearing good fruit. For the first 1,500 years of Christian history roughly 99% of Christians believed that you could forfeit salvation. We MUST make it to the end. Be careful of pastors who try to tell you this message. While there may be a few with good intentions, the results will be disastrous.
Don’t ever worry about losing your salvation, the whole entire purpose of God is to bring you home, nobody can take u out of his hands, not even yourself.
You couldn’t lose your salvation if you wanted to.
Thank you Lord Blessed be thy name Amen
It's a false explaination, do you say that Denmas is in heaven.? 2 Timothy 4:10
Do you say if I put my hand into plough and look back shall still gain heaven? And if I love my mother and father more than him Im still worthy of him to get there?
Do you mean that if I seek to gain my life in this world, I'm not going to lose it contrary to Christ own word?
He will take you out from Egypt but you can still perish in the wilderness.
Because a Saved person is sealed until the day of redemption! Ps…..

A CHRISTIAN CAN LOSE THEIR SALVATION AND BE LOST ETERNALLY.
I believe the Holy Spirit inspired the word of God and their are numerous scriptures in the New Testament which contradict the John Calvin teaching of " Once Saved Always Saved ". A CHRISTIAN CAN LOSE THEIR SALVATION AND BE LOST ETERNALLY The following New Testament scriptures show the severe consequences for Christians who become unfaithful.
Rev 2:3 and you have perseverance and have endured for My name’s sake, and have not grown weary. 4 But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5 Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you repent.
Christians must remain faithful to Jesus to make their calling and election sure. Matt 10:22 And you will be hated by all for My name's sake, but he who perseveres and endures to the end will be saved
Christians Can Fall Away Heb 10:26 For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” 31 It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
II Peter 2:20 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. 21 For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them. 22 [h]It has happened to them according to the true proverb, “A dog returns to its own vomit,” and, “A sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire.”
otice here that Christians can be in danger of eternal judgement in hell by not bearing fruit in their lives being productive for Christ with the talents and abilities He has given us.> John 15 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
The apostle Paul recognized the danger that a Christian can fall from grace..> 1 Corinthians 9 27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
This pastor is going straight to hell
Oh.. no! We really need to pray for Pastor John MacArthur, it's shameful to me for he to say this, … this one he is saying it's wrong. or else there will not be warning, and Jesus warn the Apostles, that they are to watch.
Will Justin Peters say something about this, please. Where is Justin Peters now ? because this's wrong. This one that John MacArthur is saying.
why did He say that ? was Peter, John …and the others not save ? in Matthew 25 . the 10 vigins were all saved, because if the bridegroom were to come without tarried they all were to be in.
Mt 25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
That mean their lamps was burning before,
Mt 25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
Mt 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
So, If John MacArthur is speaking like this, many people will not care, they might say, I am saved no matter what I do. there was a person who killed someone and later kill himself, because he said.. his Pastor told him that, he cannot lose his Salvation.
Another guy go to sleep with other woman, and his wife begin to ask a pastor about the matter of her husband who has left the house and gone into sin.
the so called pastor told the lady that, was her husband save before ? what he means is: if he was save, he can not lose his Salvation no matter what he do. what a false teaching ! friends, a pastor can make a mistake, we need to truly pray for Pastor John MacArthur, this one he is saying… it is err.

Jn 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed;
There is deception of one cannot lose their Salvation or you cannot repent. These are wrong statements !
Jer 18:8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
Mk 6:12 And they went out, and preached that men should repent.
Mt 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Lk 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to [our] father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
2Pet 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Now, what makes me to repent, where do I hear the Word "repent" ? is it not the Word of God ? quote : Jn 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.
Notice: "the Word that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life"
it's the Word of God that when a person hear it, that do make them to truly repent in the right way. if anyone don't truly repent and get born again, who fault is that ? dost it means repentance is wrong ? doses it means humble-being cannot repent ? repentance mean going away from the badthings you waned todo, and that telling of repenting come from the Word of God, that I heard, that I followed or following that makes me to change my way by His grace, not just depending on His grace without me showing the Action of obedient.
Lk 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Lk 6:47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
Jonah 3:8,9,10 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that [is] in their hands.Who can tell [if] God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did [it] not.
1Pet 4:1,2, Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of [his] time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
Jas 2:14 What [doth it] profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Jas 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
There are ignorant Christians who think, If They sin, Jesus will still forgive them no matter what they do, therefore they keep sining, just like the children of Israel who says, they have Abraham as father, while God was anger with them because of their way of doing. read this quote :
Heb 12:17 ………..for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
Jer 15:6 Thou hast forsaken me, saith the Lord, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.
meaning, we should ceased from sin, Scriptures say :
1Pet 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
that doesn't mean repentance is wrong, but that we should not keep on sining, because if you continue in that way, If the Rupture take place will you go?
Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
The LORD Jesus, say we are to watch against sining, against backslider, because it's possible for one to lose their Salvation.
Rev 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
Rev 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Ex 32:33 And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
That mean their name were there before, and that they were save but for they going into sin without true repentance is Hell fire for such person. whosoever they might be, for God dose't show respect of a person.

Sooo..u ppl think u can sin all u want and still get into heaven? Pffft. There is no once saved always saved
He will never leave us or forsake us
It is us that leaves him…
My thought after much study, is that you can not lose it, but you can lose your place in the Rapture. Since that part is not a 100% for me yet. Would like fed back.

TWO SEPARATE GIFTS OF SALVATION (see illustration) https://ibb.co/qNHv4c3
1) The first gift of salvation is LIFE. (Born Again)(Rom10:9) Not salvation from Hell.
2) Continue in the Apostles doctrine. Be perfect because one sin KILLS (Heb 10:26)
3) The last gift of salvation is ETERNAL LIFE. This gift is our inheritance given only to those who are alive at the end. (Math 10:22) (Rev 20:11-15).
Rom 10:9. Paul is NOT saying we have been saved from Hell / eternal death. He is saying that when we believe and confess the Lord Jesus we are saved from death. Salvation from death is our Pass Over. (1Cor 5:7) Now we are alive having passed from DEATH to LIFE. (John 5:24) Death passed over Israel and they began there journey to the promised land. When we believed the gospel we began our journey to the promised Kingdom.( Math10:22) The Word of God (John 14:6) is the highWay we must continue on in order to reach the Kingdom of heaven. Be warned, Israel died and were unable to enter. We are alive as long as we don't sin knowingly. (Heb 10:26) If we are dead in any sin on the last day we will not be able to enter His rest.
He should know better. Heb 10:26 says if we sin willfully there remains no more sacrifice for sin. How then can a sinner enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Be perfect
We're not SAVED until we endure til the end. RUN this race as Paul said.
I don’t agree that we don’t have the will to keep our salvation. If we don’t have the will (or the power) to lose our salvation, then Christ’s word in John 15:4-5 (with Paul’s reference of the analogy in Romans. 11:21-22) was meant for nothing. The atonement that Christ did on the cross was only for God to redeem back to himself his creation who had been separated from him by the transgression of the first man. The effect of that atonement was the way for the grace of God to come into the whole human race. Because of that grace (Titus2:11), salvation became available to all men (John 3:16); and men can come and can be reconciled to God (Romans 5:10; Colossians 1:21) if they believe in Jesus Christ. Therefore, understanding the effect of Christ’s sacrifice in relation to the grace of God that is made available to all men, salvation can still be lost if believers will reject the faith and forsake God. Grace is just an extension of God’s mercy. It’s not a license or freedom to sin (Romans 6:1-2; 8:1; Galatians 5:13). The God we are worshiping today is the same God that we know in the Old Testament times.
Not true
So someone who was a Christian could stop believing, commit blasphemy, and still get into heaven?
This makes me extremely great full. I am weak, but he is strong…
We did do something to gain it. We have to have faith in order to gain salvation. We have to have faith in all that Jesus did and all that Jesus said. That's what it means to believe in Jesus. Jesus said he will set us free from walking in sin and cleanse us. So if someone is really saved they will be what Jesus said He will make them. Jesus said you'll know them by their fruit. The 10 virgins were all waiting on Jesus only 5 made it to the kingdom the other 5 ran out of oil. They all believed. The were all saved but they didn't all endure to the end.
Luke 12:45
45But suppose that servant says in his heart, ‘My master will be a long time in coming,’ and he begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and get drunk. 46The master of that servant will come on a day he does not expect and at an hour he does not anticipate. Then he will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.
Notice this servant is a believer but because of his disobedience Jesus assigns him a place with the unbelievers. Which shows your actions prove if you're really saved or not.
1 Timothy 4:1
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith…
Revelation 3:4
4But you do have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their garments, and because they are worthy, they will walk with Me in white. 5Like them, he who overcomes will be dressed in white. And I will never blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and His angels.…
Exodus 33:13
The LORD replied to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot out of My book.
Revelation 22:19
19And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
False teaching
We had to ask for it. But I fear that I blasphemed by having a hard heart and began worshipping idols and gaining occultic knowledge by watching YouTube channels like A Call For an Uprising and others that expose satanism in our popular culture and yet I was two faced because I felt like I couldn't pick a side. I thought hell would only be for those who don't ever accept Jesus. I pray that God will hear me and forgive me.
I’m only 41 but in my personal backsliding experience God never left me and would not allow me to remain in that state.
After my immediate family and then my own wife disowned me because I became a “Bible thumper” I backslid terribly. Through it all God showed me how low of a creature I truly am. I was convinced of my own goodness before my trials, but the behaviors, thoughts, actions, and words that came out of me during the hardship showed me that apart from Jesus, I am a nasty selfish evil man.
I now have a new humble understanding and a deep & complete submission to Jesus my King that I don’t believe was there before.
There was a time when I was angry at God and wanted to be away from Him, but through it He never left me and is still to this day completing what He started in me all those years ago.
I used to believe other people were the sinners. But now I know that in my heart I’m the biggest sinner that needs to study the scriptures and get right with God else I die and go to Hell were I deserve.
Let’s ignore the part where branches, that were grafted in, can be cut off due to unbelief.
Think about this,, God is holding you,yet you murdered somebody,,, or commit sins? So what is the point of the rules that God made?,,, What will God do ? If he still holding you? Just watch you?
Its up to you to Be and Keep the Faith. So if i turned to Gnosticism tomorow and continue in that am i saved? Can i turn to Gnosticism? Here you go…
Col 1:2 – if you continue in the faith
Heb 6:1 – if you are justified you will live by faith, but if any man DRAWBACK…
Tim 2:12 – Deny Him He will deny you
There's tons more, the bottom line is the people who claim if you sin you loose you're salvation are just plain ignorant, you must stay in the faith till the end. What is the faith? I beleive in my Redeemer, Saviour, My Love Jesus Christ and i will till the end and i will be saved. If i sin i am still saved with consequences unless i confess and repent of that sin. Simple as that, stop complicating salvation all you truthless scholars, please. God bless you anyway
Now if you have a friend or friends who are the most righteous people in existance and do no wrong, but don't believe, the Lord has this taken care of, they are a law unto themselves, and what happens to them i can guess but i won't, and is between the Lord and them, but the Lord says he doesn't want to see the wicked perish but to repent of their evil, so would He really send to hell mine or your friend?
SALVATION is SPEAKING the WORD of GOD (Jesus) without FEAR.
Romans 10:8
But what saith it? The WORD (Jesus-The Truth) is nigh thee, even in THY MOUTH and in THY HEART: that is, the WORD of FAITH (Jesus) which we preach;
Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy MOUTH the Lord Jesus (The Word). They changed the scripture to “Jesus is Lord”
Romans 10:9
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. How do you show the Father you believe he raised Jesus from the dead? You CONFESS the Word (Jesus) without FEAR. (Matt 10:28)
2 Corinthians 4:13
We having the same SPIRIT of FAITH according as it is written, I BELIEVE and therefore have I SPOKEN WE also BELIEVE and therefore SPEAK
2 Corinthians 5:1
For WE KNOW that if our EARTHLY HOUSE of this tabernacle were DISSOLVED we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness. HE offered Issac as a BURNT offering, his BODY WOULD have been FULLY destroyed. HE believed God would RAISE HIM from the DEAD HIS FAITH FULFILLED.(Jam 2:23)
Romans 1:17
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from FAITH (Beginning) to FAITH (Fulfilled)as it is written, The just shall live by FAITH.
How do YOU get the FAITH to CONFESS the WORD without FEAR? IT is A GIFT of GOD (Eph 2:8)
So this notion that you have FAITH and you LIVE your LIFE in PEACE never desiring to see the Lord Jesus (The Word) glorified (followed) among ALL MEN is a LIE.
Philippians 1:29
For unto YOU it is given in the behalf of Christ (THE WORD) not only to BELIEVE on HIM (Jesus-The Word) but also to SUFFER for HIS (Jesus-The Word) sake.
Romans 8:17
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; IF so be that WE SUFFER with HIM (Jesus-The Word) that we may be also GLORIFIED together.
Romans 8:18
For I reckon that the SUFFERINGS (for Jesus- The Word) of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
2 Timothy 2:12
IF WE SUFFER, we shall also REIGN with HIM, if we deny him, he also will deny us:
Proverbs 28:23
He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.
Matthew 10:32
Whosoever therefore shall CONFESS ME (Jesus-The Word) before MEN, HIM will I CONFESS also before my Father which is in heaven.
You can’t do this because you don’t have THE FAITH, you are scared to lose your job, your family, your friends, your house, your car, YOUR LIFE.
Romans 10:10
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the MOUTH CONFESSION is made UNTO SALVATION.
How do you know Jesus (The Word) is in you?
Revelation 19:10
for the TESTIMONY of JESUS is the spirit of prophecy (Confessing The Word-Jesus)
Romans 8:16
The Spirit itself BEARETH WITNESS with OUR SPIRIT that WE ARE the CHILDREN OF GOD.
How does the spirit bear witness? By telling you to TELL your neighbor to STOP sinning when they sin.
If this is not happening to you, you are not his. You don’t have the HOLY SPIRIT or JESUS (The Word) dwelling in YOU.
Acts 14:22
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to CONTINUE in THE FAITH (Confessing The Lord Jesus-The Word) and that we must through MUCH tribulation (suffering for the Word) enter into the kingdom of God. God Bless.
Dear brothers and sisters and friends,
Do consider David Pawson’s interpretation on this subject.
David Pawson was a man who feared God enough that he could not accept the idea “Once saved always saved”. He sincerely warned about this idea, I am thankful that he did as it restored my fear of God.
“Once saved always saved” is dangerous and ignorant of Jesus’ solemn warnings about losing our salvation. These warnings are throughout the New Testaments, many begin in the gospel of Matthew. In David’s book “Once Saved Always Saved?”, he pointed out in the NT alone, there is 80 passages that warn about losing salvation.
He explained that the word “saved” is used in three different tenses in the NT: past, present and future. Which indicates that salvation is a process not yet complete.
I sure believe that salvation is God’s grace and cannot be earned, but not that it cannot be lost before it is complete, as Jesus warned.
We all have sins we want to stop committing. And let’s be honest with ourselves, even though with contrition, many times we still do them willfully, and Hebrews 10:26 states clearly the consequence of willful sinning.
We need to be fearful also for the things we must do but do not do because we are afraid or find excuses to not do them, especially our calling. (Matthew 25:24-30)
Let’s continue to ask for His mercy and pray that one day we may fear Him enough that we truly turn away from these sins and start doing all the things He has commanded us to do that we didn’t.
