Rick Warren | – How To Trust God Through Troubles with Buddy Owens

[support us] — Trusting God is easy when life is going well. But trusting God when you’re in trouble is an entirely different thing — especially when you don’t feel like you’ve done anything to deserve it. It’s in those times when our trust in God is put to the test. In this message, Pastor Buddy Owens teaches us how to cultivate a life of faith, even when going through times of adversity. When you’re going through a storm, God is not standing on the other side, waiting for you to figure things out on your own. He is walking through the storm with you. Your trouble is not the end of the story … it’s the beginning of something beautiful.

This is my 1st time listening to this Pastor. He spoke with such simplicity and ease. May God bless him; what a word in due season! Thanking God for always being with us through the storms in our lives!
it's crazy to think that a simple plant can hit you where you need it
catholic here. thanks for high level sermon
Thank you, Pastor Buddy. I am learning sooooo much from your sermons. It's awesome when you hear the word of GOD AND IT'S CHANGING YOUR LIFE, AND THAT'S HAPPENING TO ME. Praise the LORD, AMEN.
Good message
I know that The Gardener is tending to me. This season is not the end… There is an eternal Glory yet to come…
God has a plan and a Purpose for this one life!
Really needed this today! My worries were making me physically sick. Thank you for sharing
Trust the process. Let it play out and not fear the the outcome.
1. Feed on the Word
2. Pray for the rain of the Holy Spirit
3. Pull the weeds
4. Guard against bugs
5. Prepare for a harvest
The process is tough but worth it.
Amen…Thank you.
But that's the problem! I am living on the wrong side of the comma. I don't want to be but I CAN NOT get right. My perspective is wrong, yes! I love the message but, for me, it like saying "all you need to do to get well is to get well". I'm sinning, or I'm not sinning, I don't have enough faith or I do have enough faith. "Trust God". Ok! how? Just do it. But it doesn't come and I cant get it. This is the answer and it is no help. Both at the same time.
What happens if you give up death
I found that often God comes thru when I have completely given up and it looks hopeless so what does that mean because it contradicts this
I have been thru adversity that would make st Paul look like he was at a resort a summer vacation
Trust me I have seen unfathomable adversity ya God always comes thru but enough is enough
What does giving up mean pills death or just whining it does not make sense because I have found everybody gives up and that's when God comes thru everybody gives up at least in thier heart no one is a god
I mean I have had 40 years of adversity not one day
It's hard for me to trust in God when Time are bad. I pray my trust will grow and I able to get peace. I really appreciate the message. His word give me hope .
this is a really good sermon. I suffer from mental issues and havent been on meds for a while. but Jesus is my medicine now!

Thank for the word . To God be the glory .
I really need this message. Please pray for my family. The relationships between my mother and my sister, and myself seem to be coming towards a violent end. Words no longer seem to get through to my mother and sister. I can't help them. So, as hard as it is, I just have to trust God's timing and pray that he'll heal us.
If you listen to this everyday you will never forget this message. Indoctrinate yourself with the truth
I heart agrees and that is Gods voice.
Love his sermons alot
I want to see the garden
I liked Eph 1:18 " I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you." for my memory verse this week 🙂
and at 18 minute when he talks about the other side of the comma. The
comma actually looks like a little, nothing, seed, being planted with big,
growing, fruitful, hope on the other other side of the ", " I know the
Hebrew language probably did not have commas, but they did have the word
"but" which goes well with a comma 🙂 I have a new love for commas.

In a time when I am really struggling, that message has really helped me. Thank you.
My third time listening to this sermon..praise God!
I've been struggling with my thoughts, I struggle to understand why certain things occur, sometimes I feel like God has turned his back on me. But I continue to seek and Trust God forever. His Will, never mine
This comforted me soo much, please pray for me!!
Thank you for the work you are doing. God bless you. James.
the words are deeply absorbed by my heart.
