Friends, the Josephites are a wonderful community of priests who serve a parish and high school in the northernmost part of my Santa Barbara Pastoral Region. This week, I had the privilege of ordaining a seminarian named Gerardo to the diaconate of the Josephite Order.
Please join me in praying for this young man in his journey to the priesthood and for an increase in all religious vocations.

I think it is permanent diaconate and not transitional diaconate. We need more transitional diaconate who can become priests
