I experience this sadly within my own Catholic community too. When someone attacks you for some silly reason, you know something is disordered. With God's grace and strength, there will be peace. Thank you Bishop Barron, always so good to hear from you. God bless!
People have destroyed me with their envy and my life is still in turmoil from it. I have no love in my heart for anyone anymore.

Jealousy is enmity prompted by fear, envy is enmity prompted by covetousness. They are not quite the same. A weak envy might be just desiring what some else has but albeit in your own way and doesn't necessary imply harm where as jealousy is more directly wanting what someone else has which is rather destructive. Anyone else see that? Example, someone has a new car so I would like a car, or someone has a new car and I'm angry and want their car

Can ambition be rightly ordered yet remain ambition? Not an ambition of who is the greatest but of fulfilling our potential whether it be in high places or low and planning for the future so as to accomplish our ends?
my grandfather was a succesfull man , but in his later years he declined and his brother took what he could of him even my grandfather house so i grew up whit certain envy and ambition of getting everything back even one of the last conversation i had whit my father before he died i said to him i will get everything back thank to GOD he has opened my heart and allowed me let everything of that behind thank you bishop barron for your words
The Roman Catholic church is a false church. Reject Vatican innovation, become Orthodox, because there is no salvation outside the Orthodox church.

So much truth in this homily.
I have lived under envy for forty years and didn’t even know it. I was a chaperone on a Lifeteen retreat this past summer, when God came to my rescue. I sat listening to an amazing speaker and looked around me as everyone enjoyed her talk. I couldn’t take anything she said in.. A tired familiar thought ran through my head, “I do nothing, why does everyone else get amazing gifts and things to say?” But with this thought came the Holy Spirit’s response “Envy. You are full of envy.” It wasn’t an accusation it was a diagnosis. I knew immediately that I needed to go to confession. Instead I went to the adoration chapel and wept. I got up to leave, my body actually felt heavy, as though this sin had physical weight. My friend had followed me and she asked if I was ok. I looked at her and said I need to go to confession and she said “I’ll walk with you”. God provided the most amazing priest, who reminded me that going on retreat with teens I was standing in as a spiritual mother for some who may never have known family.

I am a south Asian. The Death of America, like Mr Foulton Sheen had said and predicted in a tv show in 1950s, is already happening. He had also added in it ,They will come in name of co-existence and peace , then will destroy America. Mr Sheen wasnt exactly referring to the word or ideology , Marxism, but he was in-directly saying about is-lam coming to West.He was also saying, they will re-write the history, which is also happening. I would say, its too late for the great country USA now and then the West will be destroyed soon in the coming decade
