Robert Barron | – The Sacraments | Trailer

Friends, I encourage you to watch episode 1 of my newest film series at [support us]

The great sacraments of the Church—Baptism, Confirmation, the Eucharist, Reconciliation, the Anointing of the Sick, Matrimony, and Holy Orders—have endured for thousands of years and structured countless lives.

Everything in the Church’s life comes from and returns to them.

But there is far more to these ancient rites than meets the eye.

In this follow-up to my series on the Mass, I look at the great sacraments of the Church in all their theological depth, spiritual effects, and pastoral promise.

“The Sacraments” will help you understand these signs and channels of grace and discover the secret behind their persistence down the ages: the presence and power of the Savior himself.

  1. Bishop Robert Barron is amazing! The seven sacraments are the means by which the church expresses its life! 1:01. Looking forward to this. Bishop Robert Barron even inspired me to make my own channel called St.Pio Films which has so many Catholic videos! If you want, come and check it out and I will follow back.

  2. St Michael, the Archangel defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray: and do thou O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God thrust down to hell Satan and all of the evil spirits that roam through the world seeking the ruin of souls.Amen.

Hail Mary full of grace blessed are you among women and best is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen

O my Jesus forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to heaven especially those in most need of they mercy. Amen

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments, we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your holy will which is Love and Mercy Itself. Amen

  3. Very exciting! Thank you, Bishop Barron for your work! I would love to see you do a series focusing on the Rosary and the Blessed Mother too. I am sure that it would clear up some misconceptions that Protestants and non-believers have about the Catholic view of Mary. Perhaps you could even include the Marion apparitions and also the many Saints who had a devotion to her like Louis De Montfort and Maximilian Kolbe and even what a devotion to Mary truly means. I think that would be fantastic, and only Word on Fire could make it happen! Peace be with you.

  4. Awesome production and inspired content! As a cradle Catholic growing up in the 1960s and 1970s, I never heard this level of instruction or grace-filled insight. I am so grateful to drink it in now. Thank you, Bishop for caring, sharing and spreading the Good News!

  5. I kept thinking YES, YES, YES listening to this. I'm going to have to try to obtain a copy. I don't think I've heard anyone cover the "I'm Catholic, BUT…" attitude when you spoke about Catholic views on subjects vs. general population. What the church teaches is law. Thank you for taking the time to do this film!

  6. Bishop Barron, the videos you and the guys at word on fire produce are really works of art! Thank you so much for using beauty in all its glory to evangelise 🙂

  7. You are completely ignorant of any truth. The catlic church really needs to shut up and go away before you are made to go away. You clowns are the MOST unholy things on planet earth. You are NOT God's church….stop lying to the planet.
