im kinda bummed that phil wickham conformed to the ways of the christian music industry, his songs on cannons had a bit more originality to them but the songs from this album seem to have gone straight to average worship songs which i think could be better…he is however a really great singer and a genuine person he's awesome i hope his next album is a little bit more real then just paved golden streets and happy crucifix songs
@ DNewtable
This song has a lot to with the gospel. We aren't alone, and Christ is our strength, our protector and the author and perfecter of our faith.
Matthew 28: 20 says, "lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age".
The truth is that we are never more safe than when we are in the center of God's will. This doesn't mean that harm won't befall us, but it does mean that God is watching us and bringing the best for our life. Ultimately we will be "safe" in His arms in Heaven.
@peopleprinter Yea, i understand what you are saying but i am saying as far as song writing goes, its not that good
good song ,thanks Phil
It's been a blessing to me. Thank you Phil
what a wonderful song!… I am safe in his arms… I am never alone… That is the promise he made… the great creator. I hope many many people can believe that…So hear him now, he is calling you home…!!
Phil sings about having a relationship with Christ, who died for us and wants us to live surrendered to God's will. How is this not about the Gospel?
so much awesome!a very great promise in a song!
That is awesome sick going through a tuff time, may your anointing from The Lord ever flow from your mouth.
I can't believe he went to that hateful place that dares to call itself a church. Hopefully he brought life to that dark place.
