Getting rid of any sin in our life, including sexual sin, is by being sanctified in Jesus Christ by believing His Truth. Our sanctification is all about growing out of love with ourselves and the evil that pleases the flesh and growing into a full love with God, which He is all goodness. When we truly search and truly desire God's goodness in our lives instead of sin, then God will deliver us from the sin, but if we still desire the sin at all, then we truly don't want God's goodness.
When a person is truly born of God at the end of their sanctification (not at justification), that person will not sin anymore, for they have totally died to their own evil selfish love and have truly desired all of God's goodness instead, which is pure love for God and others.
For anyone desiring to live a sin free life going forward, then you can go towards the goal of being born again at the end of your sanctification. In 1 John 3:8-10 we can see what a true person born of God is like where they have been totally transformed and only the pure love of God is in them and there is no more sinful nature in them anymore.
Until we are fully sanctified (born of God), we will be enslaved to sin, because we are still of the devil, but when we are truly born of God, we don't sin anymore, because we have the same nature of God and we are a true son of God just like Jesus Christ, for we are filled with the same Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. At this point we are no longer part of the devil, but totally transformed into the likeness of Christ, which only loves and desires goodness. At this point the devil does not have the power to tempt us into sin anymore, because we have been changed to hate all sin, just like God hates all sin.
1 John 3:8-10 King James Version
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
There is no real "how to" in this video. How is the flesh removed from action???? How how how how? AFTER KNOWING then what?
When you are being sanctified by the Lord, the body gets weaker and your spirit becomes stronger and stronger until you begin to desire to be rid of the body altogether. Death of the body in Christ is nothing more than a seed casting off the hull to become the tree that God has planted. Sanctification is continual from salvation until death, through it God leads us to overcome every sin in and of the flesh by his spirit in us, repairing all of our spiritual infirmities, or bruises caused by the fall, until there are no more bruises for Satan to poke that cause us to sin. When God heals an infirmity, you will no longer even have temptation in that area. By faith alone in Jesus’ blood, not in your works or religion. Paul said, I keep under my body…he understood the process. We are alive in Christ to be harvested into the kingdom and we must overcome the sins we are drawn to by the spirit of God through Jesus Christ, the Holy One. Holiness is the goal. We are never perfect but we can cast off what the devil has done through Submission to Jesus and his way. Sadly the church is no longer teaching this. See how Ezekiel 18 and 33 tie into Paul’s teaching and Ezekiel 20 for Gods view of what happened at the Red Sea and why he left them in the desert…they refused the sanctification process. The fear of the Lord was not in them even though the pillar of cloud and fire spoke to them.
Lord please help me to understand this and make it a reality in my life
