I'm barely in listening, but want to make this comment at the get go: abortion is not new, it was made a part of the American landscape 50 years ago. The Church could have prevented it from getting to this place. I was around, only the fringe was talking about it, mainstream Christianity was silent. I realize that doesn't solve anything now, but young folks need to know it was we, your elders, who let you down.
I am against Abortion. Plain and simple. But Egyptians done abortions and other cultures did as well. Way back when. Different reasons, and ways. How you think this newer version of people new how to do it? But as the commandments go, Murder is MURDER.

And yet Mr. Piper has no issue what-so-ever to support politicians and in particular a party in this country which unashamedly butchers millions of children in the place where they ought to be the most safest, the womb. Mr. Piper I am dumb-founded by your duplicity.

Suppose you had a platform and opportunity to endorse a political candidate that was trying to reverse the abortion laws in this country. But instead you use your platform and piety to instead point out how sinfully ugly said candidate was. How arrogant and boastful. Then suppose you continued on to expound on how such characteristics in our society had the potential to harm more people than abortion.
Now come to terms with the FACT that 40 MILLION babies were aborted last year. And the Presidential candidate you DID NOT denounce, in spite of the fact that he has promoted pro abortion legislation for 47 years is now our president…
I am disgusted by the false piety of John Piper. I was once enamored by his down to earth raspy delivery. Seeming Bible knowledge and faith. But no more. My faith in Christ remains in tact. My conscience is clear.
Our country on the other hand is falling apart. And John Piper and our president are fiddling with platitudes of good will… I suggest any one who reads this never never ever listen to this man again…
Don't pardon intended evil. All of those are going to eat their own curses. The honest and righteous won't have to worry about who cursing us or who honest and truthful. Those who bless us will share blessings and those who curse us will eat of their own curses immediately.
