T. D. Jakes | – Learning to Walk in the Spirit – Bishop T.D. Jakes

All your life, you’ve had to fight to keep back the dead, dying, and decaying sin that’s still hanging on you. You’ve asked yourself whether it was God not delivering you or whether it was you still wanting to be in the mud and not in the Messiah. But when you feel uncomfortable in sin, when you recognize you don’t belong in unfavorable surroundings, that is when God takes you out of the mud and into His miracle. It’s not an easy journey, nor is it an easy fight, but if you’re going to fight back against your enemy, you must deal with your “inner me”.

  2. Wonderful word Bishop I miss the sermon container but also what I have learned is that loneliness invites a dance with the devil"I'm old and I'm tired too weak to fight. I keep discovering people that were worshiping God I now worshiping men and worshiping the world and taking pleasures but through it all I have learned to keep listening to your sermons and the different preachers that preach at your church thank you and God bless you all your word helps sustain me The Potter's House and the members help sustain me the work that you do to help others is fantastic the people in the floods the people in the hurricanes the work that the Potter House does is fantastic God bless all of your members all over the world

  3. Due to covert a lot of people can't go and worship in their places and the places that they used to worship some people's places have changed so what do you do? You no longer have your members all this is a tool of the devil it's been manipulated yes we have plagues and viruses they will come Moses told us that but by whose hand and who's leadership does the place come? I used to go to church all the time it was my hospital now many churchgoers don't have that hospital to attend so therefore the devil was racking have it with our lives in our families he's happy principalities happy. At my church we will hug you shook hands I didn't like that shaking hands that much but now I miss it but we interacted with each other we accepted each other we pray for one another now almost 2 years no intimate word no physical touching no communication with your members people that see you face to face people that have seen your struggle heard your struggle church members are suffering God bless all of you but thank you most important for this hourly ministry from The Potter's House thank you Bishop Jakes for your word amen

  7. I would be rich and happy if I didn't always succumb to sin and my evil ways and not listening and being self-righteous and letting my ego take control self will run riot I would be rich financially and happy joy and helping others

  8. I totally come into agreement with ll you are saying. I just wonder if it wasn't so much about the idea of one person being holy compared to another. But that our beliefs should be holy in the faith and belief of Jesus, as our actions come from what we believe so if we learn to believe holy beliefs then we will begin to have holy actions not just in faith but in our fruits as we help others come to the realization our beliefs are wrong to walk in a holy nature. But it takes time and practice and a community to support this idea because nobody makes the jump the first time, but from the time Jesus was baptized to the time he was willingly sacrificed meaning he told judus to set up the arrangement and judus was Jesus best friend but that's a whole other story, he was perfect according to the law, and so when we see what he emphasized in his doing we begin to see the Bible as a very realistic practical guide to living that can be built upon by individual relationships and connections. In which we can all esteem to a holy nature but if you don't have faith enough to say I am holy in Jesus name then how will you ever begin to add legs to support that belief to make you see a holy nature?
