T. D. Jakes | – Living the Life That God Desires – Bishop T.D. Jakes

Anyone that is in Christ is a new creation, which begs the pivotal question: How different is the life you live from the life you lived? A crucified life means you nail your will to the cross, but you don’t stop living just because you’re restrained. When you live by the faith of the Son of God, you inherit the “nevertheless” bone. Whatever life throws at you, nevertheless, you live. You might be in a pandemic, nevertheless, you live. You might have lost your job, nevertheless, you live. The world can’t sink you when Jesus is sailing on the ship!

  1. Say this prayer before you start your day:Heavenly Father, it hurts so bad. Dull the pain with Your love. Blur the sharp edges by reminding me that from bad comes good. Help me appreciate that after the sorrow, joy is sweeter. I look forward to better times. I can endure anything with You by my side. In Jesus name. Amen.

  2. I love how the Holy Spirit is working through a string of great anointed preachers right now, all @ the same time, reminding us of the importance of maintaining a thankful, & loving heart toward God right now, through whatever in going on in our lives! Lord speak it! Get us all in line as your servants to walk out the victory in Jesus defeat upon this earth! Shake it up Spirit of truth!

  3. Bishop, thank you for this! I needed to hear this. A family member whom I had an extremely close relationship with, for the first time in 38 years, is not speaking to me for my views on certain topics. I can’t believe it! I can tell God is about to do something in my life. So many great things are taking place. This severed relationship is just a sign from the Lord. But nevertheless I live! What a great message!

  4. May the LORD bless you and keep you and your family pastor Jake's I may be in a different state and going to a different church physically but nevertheless I live and will never forget what I have learned from this man and his family… thank you!! and to GOD be the glory!!!
