Loving and giving are closely intertwined. You cannot really love without really giving. Bishop Jakes illustrates his point by referencing one of the most familiar verses in scripture: John 3:16. “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.” God is infinite. His love is infinite. And He gave His infinite Son out of His infinite love for us.
Bishop Jakes urges us not to sabotage the blessings God wants to give us. “Give yourself permission to receive what God wants to give you.” He has made us kings and queens, daughters, and sons. Accept God’s love and let Him pour out blessings on your life.
