The Bible Project | – Acts Ch. 1-7

The book of Acts shows how God fulfilled His ancient promises to restore His blessing to all the nations through the offspring of Abraham: Jesus of Nazareth. In this video, we’ll explore how Jesus and the Spirit renew the people of Israel and prepare them to announce good news to the nations.

  1. The statement "Lord, don't hold this sin against them" is very important, all blasphemy will be forgiven men, except against the Holy Spirit. It means, there is no sin that cannot be forgiven, except the rejection of Christ Jesus, and God judges us not, except for that one thing. This is so important, because modern culture uses little examples of evil people to control us, where Adolf (the most evil man of the 20th century) had a wife, thus we need to stop having wives ourselves. What this forgiveness of Christ does is takes away the Satan's control on us by accusation, that enters our minds so completely: Before anybody says that this is a license to sin, the transcendent God already put in the Universe the rule that sin is its own reward (the man who sins shall die), where to do evil is to become its reward, where sin takes away from your life. Christ's forgiveness is for the family of God, but God won't be mocked.

  2. Excellent graphics and art! Really excellent. Great overview! It was always in the back of my mind that the 12 apostles were representative of the tribes but hearing it out loud really brought it home that he was recreating the first thing he had done with the 12 tribes. Love your work! Makes me realize the persecution coming now and what is coming but I loved how you all said that Jesus' message (church) would prevail. Very hopeful! This is a really good video for people not knowing the Bible or just coming to the Lord.

  3. The Temple hated them, they were persecuted in the temple, Then a Roman Wind took it away!
Acts 1: the Promise of the Father, Acts 2, the keys to the Kingdom delivered as the Holy Spirit is poured out on Sons and Daughters. to those that obey Acts 5:32

  4. I love your videos. Thank you! Saul didn’t “change” into Paul- it’s just a name translation from Hebrew into Greek. We would never say Yeshua “changed” into Iesus and then into Jesus (Hebrew to Greek to Latin/English).

  5. Amazing video. The animation is some of the greatest I've seen (biblical and otherwise). If you are taking honest feedback, please change the narration style. It's a little distracting- not sure what it is. Maybe it's a little too conversational? Or maybe it needs some backgdoun music?

  6. There is only one way, one comannadment in which we most obey in order to have your sins remited by the blood of Jesus Christ, through water baptism; And that commandment is:
    Acts 2:38 (KJV)
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ *for the remission of sins*, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

Why? Well: John 3:5 (KJV) "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, *he cannot enter into the kingdom of God*."

  7. Found out about your videos through YouVersion. Just realized some are much older and have since been replaced or supplemented by more detailed, colorful videos. I love them all but learn more from the newer version. Thank you so much for your work. It's been a blessing to me, and many others I'm sure.
