It’s the apocalypse! But what exactly does that mean? The Bible is filled with dreams and visions about human history coming to a climax, and they’re usually packed with intense imagery and strange symbols. In this video, we’ll explore the meaning of the word “apocalypse” in the Bible, and we’ll learn some basic steps for reading this literature with more wisdom and insight.

  7. @BibleProject I am a budding artist very beginner and I don't know if I have to ask, but I've really wanted to paint the scene where it shows pauls revelation at 1:49, I just wanted to know if it would be ok since I was thinking of if I did I would enter it into my school's art show( with mention of the Bible Project) since I want to spread the word of God in my school. Also, thank you for this video it really is a blessing and helped me see the revelation in a new light.

  12. You wouldn't believe me, I am a true Prophet of God, your preachers at church are right this is the time of revelation or as most people know it, the Apocalypse. I heard from my future self, if i heard it correctly the pandemic is Divine Punishment. Revelation 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. The acidity of the ocean is rising which will make the waters bitter. When most of the snow and ice melts off of Antarctica cause of global warming nations of the world will go to war over it, there it will be Armageddon. Revelation 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. The signs are already obvious to us who have been listening and watching carefully. I am Orison.

  24. The person reading the bible in the illustration was a gender neutral fluid person. He/She? could be whatever you want it to be. The message behind the message. This is where we are at people.

I always thought about this before i watched this video , so brothers and sisters, if we can create wonderful and awesome things, be inventive and ingenious here on our current earth then what more when it is renewed. what if after we are saved, we could go now to space see other planets and wonder, and from there expand our population. i don't really believe aliens and extraterrestrial beings like in the movies but rather that we are supposed to produce more offsprings and rule these new planets with the present of God, by God and for God. I know this is wishful thinking but it is will of the Father that must be done and for i am servant of Him. I believe that Jesus Christ Kingdom is at hand and I pray that many of us will be saved.

Were forgetting something that’s very very important” If we're not a part of the body of Christ (The True Church) were lost.  It cost us nothing to go to a church that’s governed by man in high places. Following our pastor is not following Jesus. Jesus would love to talk to us but we must submit to his will first. We can’t serve ourselves and Jesus too. We must take the hard narrow way that’s offered by Jesus. Religion is the broadway as there is no cross required to go but to become a true follower of Christ will cost us everything. We must become a disciple of Christ. We must stop going to church and go to Jesus first and If Jesus leads us to go then go we must be led by the Spirit and not by man in high places. Please let us work on your personal relationship with Jesus. Remember we must know Jesus and just as importantly Jesus must know us too. Let’s not put our faith and trust in the man-made easy broadway religion that costs us nothing. Let’s take the narrow way and follow Jesus The Good Shepard along with our cross of suffering and self-denial and stay faithful and endure to the end and we’ll be saved. There is no easy way to get to heaven as to get there will cost us our lives. God doesn't want nor does he care about our religion he wants our whole heart he wants a  deep personal relationship with us. Only those that overcome this world will enter the kingdom of heaven. We must be pure. Jesus is coming back for a bride that's holy righteous and true. Se lets make sure we're living every second for Jesus the only way …The narrow way… God bless you

Calyphso is mythical land or islands..John titled his book Apocalyphso..because he was in ,near Mount Apo of the Philippines.   40. This video is Heresy. To say that the tribulations in Revelation are events from the OT is trash Theology. Anyone who properly reads both the OT and Revelation will see that the characterisations of both do not match up. And to say that Adam and Eve imitated to behave like beasts because they were tempted by a beast (the serpent) is rubbish. Everything in the Garden of Eden God created including the beasts was good, there was no death or killing between animals, so there was no evil for Adam and Eve to imitate from the beasts. People started to behave like wild beasts after the fall because of sin, simple as that.

  41. The Seventh day adventist have the same way of reading their Bible compared to other denominations. They do consider the Bible as an apocalyptic literature and was wondering what does it mean…Nice work BibleProject, now I understand what is it. All of your videos including the Sabbath video thing, it completely agrees on the Adventist doctrine as I have red them. Hope you keep on doing this!
