  9. I like how Hebrews highlights the parallels between Jesus ministry and the Israelites under Moses. I am beginning to see the OT or Hebrew scriptures differently. Despite the actors, i,e, Israels and Gentiles, the focus is still the same, namely God. 🙂

  19. I think, perhaps, you may have a less than right explanation of the Rest that Israel failed to enter. For that rest is for now and not sometime in the future. That call to rest is to enter into the rest that Christ brought by his sacrifice. I hope this is what you meant.
