5:28 – "God's mercy is more powerful than his judgement"
Is God so internally divided/conflicted, so that only one side can ultimately win and defeat the other?
Generally you place good emphasis on the importance of both traits, but this phrase (used repeatedly) doesn't seem to accurately reflect Gods character. God is wholly just and wholly loving. Neither side wins but find true harmony in their demonstration on the cross! Blessings.

So… from what I have gathered, the minor prophet books are not in chronological order? From what I can tell it seems that many of the prophets overlapped and took place during the time of Kings. This would explain why many of them prophesied about the coming of Babylon?

America at one time was seen as this shining beacon of inclusion and justice for all…now these days you get as much justice as you can afford. So your illustrations of corruption are just like you said, every kingdom evolves into corruption because it is run by humans who are prone towards sin. And as sinful as we all are we don't like it when others sin so we point the finger and become indignant… I don't know how God stands us.
I love how you all break it down, it has really helped me understand the Bible.

What version are you using that reads, "He has told you, O human,…" instead of "…O man…"? What version states the Hebrew word as "human?"
