  2. I have been trying to write to blogs and news outlets to get the word out about this show. Is there any way of finding out the state different actors/crew members are from? I ask because it might give some smaller newspapers an incentive to cover it, if they could write "native of ___ part of series about Jesus".

  5. I have been touched and moved to share the gospel even more fervently, by this series. Like most folk, I am impressed with the production's divinely guided ability to harness the talents of all involved. One aspect that has had a profound effect on me is the beyond amazing music. It creates the perfect mood for every scene without intruding on the story but enhancing it. The composers have brought their loaves and fishes in abundance… Thank you, Dallas, VidAngel, cast, crew et al, for listening when you were called. God truly does work in mysterious ways.

  7. So happy to learn more about the writing process of this incredible show! Ryan Swanson so beautifully explains how he, Tyler Thompson and Dallas Jenkins absolutely uphold Scripture while making sure the audience is pulled into each of the characters lives so we understand the true impact that Jesus has upon their lives. Their inspired writing brings us into the equation too as we can relate to the beautifully developed characters, and can be equally moved.

    This writing style does not compromise scripture, but fact, makes it richer as we revisit with fresh perspectives and full hearts. So thankful to Ryan, Tyler and Dallas as they strive to get the greatest story ever told to this generation in a new package that has a huge potential for impacting the world.

  16. Truly inspired writing! Yes, Peter's rant at God in episode 4 was very likely to have happened and that scene in this episode was so appropriately preceded by the miracle of the catch and Jesus' calling the fishermen to follow Him.
    I'm certain that believers who are in similar financial conflicts in their chosen secular vocation will relate. As for me I realise that my true vocation is to follow Christ. Any secular income bringing activity is His provision. He who calls will provide as He sees fit. Am taking Jesus at His word.

  18. Why do people think Jesus Christ is born when I was saved I never thought Jesus Christ was boring!

    Jesus Christ as powerful he's not boring knowing Jesus Christ as a spiritual adventure nobody and all the Earth in the universe can ever give. Honesty y cater to the world when God has the power of the holy Spirit to change lives?

    Jesus Christ FIB high and lifted up I'll draw all men unto me. We have nothing to do with lies being changed it doesn't matter how creative we are it doesn't matter how popular it doesn't matter how much money we have Jesus is the one that has the source to the power of transformation. That's how the Lord works in my life he taught me by the holy ghost how to pray he taught me by the house. How to be both like in the book of Acts.

  21. Perfect, I was into reading big-time as a child growing up. We had a set of Bible stories for children. The beautiful art work and adapted Bible stories formed my start as a Christian.
    I heard a story about some young people , college agriculture students. One young men asked one of the Amish men if he was a Christian the man replied "that's not a relivent question for me. If you ask my neighbor he can tell you"

  25. Each episode makes me cry and has already changed my life! I thirst and long for Jesus more now! So much of hardwork and efforts go into the making and we just sit back, relax and watch the finished product not realizing all the efforts that went into the making. Kudos to the entire cast, crew, team. God Himself will truly reward you and give you so much favor in every area of your life, your generations will enjoy the fruits of your labor!

  27. Cool!!! Very cool!!! This is exciting! I am not a poet, but like to see writing process. Praying for you all!!! I pray that the acting crew is able to be there still. I hope it all gets funded in time. It is a fresh new way to bring people to Jesus. As a Christian, I have never liked a sales pitch evangelism. We are not selling someone. I want people to know Someone. Someone who knows all about me, in fact made me for a specific purpose. If people can grasp Jesus is not just a historic figure, but they can experience what those who saw Him did in their own life not just for now, but for eternity.

  29. i very much like how the writers treated each character in the beloved gospels. I look forward to Season 2 and be acquainted more with the sons of thunder, Thomas & Ramah, and hopefully be able to watch Jesus with Zacchaeus, the tax collector and the father of the demon-possessed boy who struggled in his faith.

  32. A couple of things: 1) I love how young Mary M.'s father says, "What do we do when we are scared? We say Adonai's words." It occurred to me that we should remember God's words for every situation and emotion we experience, e.g., pain, uncertainty, joy, anxiety, weariness. 2) During the scene between Jesus and Nicodemus, notice the fire in Jesus' eyes and tone of voice. He seems sterner than in many of the other scenes He's in. Good to see that because He will be interacting with people who don't support Him in the future and will need that kind of passion.

  33. I am so very in love with every bit of all you are doing, Dallas, with each and every video. I think I have seen them all!!! I fell in love with The Chosen after the 3rd viewing of it, when I SAW MYSELF IN MARY MAGDALENE'S deliverance. I collapsed just like she did. Now…When do we get to hear about what transpired at the writing retreat in Oregon. I can't wait!!!!
