  5. This scene with Simon and Eden is one of my favorites. Eden sees so much significance and depth to Simon, and her heart’s desire is that the rest of the world would see what she sees. Thank you, Dallas, for the romance and playfulness between them, it so enriches these characters and we are drawn to love them more.

  12. Imagining and putting yourself into Scripture is the crux of Ignatian prayer and spirituality. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit I believe that Dallas Jenkins and his co-writers have captured what possibly could be the essence of the relationships and characters of Jesus and his apostles/disciples. If it's true that this program is propelling non believers to ask questions and to have believers reignite their faith and become passionate about scripture, then we can know that the Holy Spirit is guiding these wonderful writers, producers and in Dallas, a director.

  15. I believe the actors and production team is indeed "The Chosen"! Especially selected by God to produce "The Chosen" series! This it the series of God to bring God's Word to the ends of the earth before His 2nd coming!

  19. I was raised Baptist and am now nondenominational.
    I’m not turned off by art but by idols.
    The most beautiful painting of Christ I’ve ever seen is in a Lutheran church in Stockholm.
    I do have an issue with the Jesuits and their history, if you want more info on Loyola who founded that ‘society’, read: ‘A Woman Rides the Beast’ by Dave Hunt. I’ve read it twice.

  20. WOW WOW WOW !!!!!! I just found you less than a week ago and I am so so so so so so blessed!!! Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you to all who are involved and getting this wonderful creation of visually being able to see the Word of God come to life in such a spectacular way!!! I have already binged my way through all of them so far and am eagerly, Beyond eagerly awaiting the rest of season 2! Someone else's comment mentioned how wonderful it would be for this project to continue with more and more and more of God's Word coming to life on screen till Jesus comes. I was thinking the same thing the other night and told God about it. Again , it would just be wonderful! You have been given an awesome and marvelous mantle and I pray that as you seek the Holy Spirit's guidance in this most unique endeavor, that He Beyond richly blesses all of you! God bless you and peace of Christ be with you. God willing we'll see each other in the New Jerusalem. Which by the way, is also somewhere my mind already went when talking to God about how awesome this project is and trying to picture you doing some Truth on the screen out of the Book of Revelation! Like when John, on the island of Patmos, recognizes Jesus's voice after so many years, and being the last of the original 12 and he turns around and He doesn't look anything like what John remembers! Wow, can you imagine that up on screen?!!!

  21. I just got done watching the entire series. In the first episode when Jesus called Mary to Him and healed her and said she was redeemed and she was His and He put His arms around her I cried and cried. It felt like Jesus did the same for me and I felt His arms around me. Praise God for this series! I can't wait for more!

The SOLE PROPRIETOR of such excellent evangelical workmanship – The Holy Spirit. – we must never take credit for what is inspired by None Other than YAH, himself and more importantly it should NEVER come at the cost of criticising evangelical or any part of The Ekklessia of HaShem!   25. Thank the Lord! And the entire cast and directors and all involved, this has been such a blessing to me. I'm late watching and commenting but I love everything about this. I've always loved authentic imagery in bringing the gospel to life and that is so hard to find. I've only heard one other artist who can use this sort of imagery to bring these events to life.

  26. I thought it was very astute to include in this scene Jesus noticing the women’s Egyptian necklace and then speaking to her in Egyptian. We all know he spent time in Egypt but how many of us even thought for a moment that he had learned to speak their language. Just another very clever realistic touch. (Luckily Jonathan would know the language from his Egyptian father!)

  27. the christian faith was partly birthed and carried bythe early churchby art and imagination. The byzantine empire had over a 1000 years of peace. Your being brainwashed if youthink beauty is evil. Idon't see a lot of ugly characters being cast in your christian movies, so it is hypocritical to say art is bad. Then movies are bad.

  30. I firmly believe that our Holy God uses this artistic platform to show the world who He really is. He's not some grey-haired old man pointing His finger at us barking out commands. He is love. This show is meant for this time as a last call. Come home, those who are weary come home! Jesus is coming; those of us with eyes are searching the skies every day. He is coming!

I love Dallas’s hear for God, thank you for expressing to us the Jesus we many times don’t see because we too busy looking for the supernatural miracles working Jesus, every time I watch an episode causes me to cry and be thankful at how double blessed I am to be saved!… thank you to Dallas the whole cast and the rest of the team!

  44. I , for one, have always believed, but because my father never went to mass, I was angry! My father was divorced, and remarried. The reason he never went was because he was excommunicated. As a kid, my Mom always took us, and Dad never came. I was angry as to why my Dad couldn't come!? It wasn't until I was in my mid 50's and Dad was gone, that my Mom told me that Dad could have come any time, but he had to do this training thing, and he said FUCK THAT! Most of my life I've been angry with God because I didn't understand why? I ran away and thought that God has forsaken me and my whole family. About a year ago, my Mom told me, "Your dad could have fixed this at any time" he just chose to go golfing instead!,,,,,, So, all my life I've been angry with God,,, only to find out that I should be angry with Dad! So now, I'm trying to get myself right with Jesus, because I had walked away! I was angry! I was hurt! And I didn't understand why? Today, I can understand why, I can understand that he thought he was lost,,,,,,, But he wasn't…..Today I am trying to mend those ties I had with Jesus, and become part of his world again. I have my baggage that I bring, and I hope that I can be forgiven! I am starting the process of being saved. I am putting all my heart in this, because I have nothing left to loose. I have spent a life, trying, and failing,,,, over and over. I am done trying for anything, other than Jesus! If this doesn't work, I am gone! I am tired of the fight, I am not giving him(Devil) any more! God Speed!
