About The Author

The Chosen WHY A TV SERIES ABOUT JESUS? We've been making movies for some of the biggest studios in Hollywood for 20 years. But a subject this important shouldn't be entrusted to Hollywood. It needs to be made by us. Isaiah 43:19 says, "Behold, I am doing a new thing..." The Chosen is a new thing. * How it was financed is new: We're the #1 highest crowd-funded media project of all time -- over $10 million from over 19,000 people. * The content is new: We're the first-ever multi-season show about the life of Christ. * The way to watch it is new: We're the first show to have our own app that connects directly to your streaming devices. No subscription needed. Just search "The Chosen" where you get apps and download to your phone. * How it's reaching the world is new: The show is free, but by "paying it forward," you help ensure people around the world can see it -- we're currently in every country. Welcome to a new thing!

  1. Was really curious and also hoping to see Mary, Martha and Lazarus and their friendship with Jesus like how they meet and actually show "Jesus Wept" when Lazarus dies and he is comforting the sisters. I wonder if some of the disciples might even cry in that scene?

  2. Zachariah offers convincing proof that Jesus is Jehovah. In the passage beginning with Zachariah 11:4, "the LORD my God" said, "So they weighed for my price 30 pieces of silver." In Zachariah 12:10 Jehovah stated, "They shall look upon me whom they have pierced." Of course, it was Jesus who was sold for 30 pieces of silver and who was pierced (Matthew 26:14-16; John 19:34).

  3. Jesus is Jehovah. Isaiah 40:3 prophesied that a voice in the wilderness would cry, "Prepare ye the way of the LORD" (Jehovah); Matthew 3:3 says John the Baptist is the fulfillment of this prophecy. We know that John prepared the way of the Lord Jesus Christ. Since the name Jehovah was the sacred name for the one God, The Bible would not apply it to anyone other than the Holy One of Israel; Malachi 3:1 says, "The LORD, Home G seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant." This was filled by Jesus, whether the literal Temple or the temple of Jesus' body is meant (John 2:21). Jeremiah 23:5-6 speaks of a righteous branch from David‐a clear reference to the Messiah-and names him "The LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS." (See also Jeremiah 33:15-16.) In other words, Jesus IS "Jehovah Our Righteousness." Isaiah prophesied that the glory of the LORD would be revealed to all flesh (Isaiah 40:5). Since Jehovah said he would not give his glory to another (Isaiah 42:8; 48:11), we know He could only fulfill this prophecy by revealing Himself. Indeed, we find in the New Testament that Jesus had the glory of the Father (John 1:14; 17:5). He is the Lord of glory (1 Corinthians 2:8). When Jesus comes again, He will come in the glory of the Father (Matthew 16:27; Mark 8:38).
SINCE JESUS HAS JEHOVAH'S GLORY, JESUS MUST BE JEHOVAH

  4. I Love this you guys! I am streaming from the app to my tv and since I watch YouTube a lot (Not always uplifting content) I decidided to put The Chosen in the search. I went to bed last night on a great note and thoughts and was thinking about it when I woke up.

  5. Today I saw an article released from corporate that Coca-Cola will be adding cocaine into their soft drink. When I tried to access the site of the article it gives me an error message. Any info anyone?

  6. Coca Cola will be adding cocaine to their products again as Pacific Northwest states pass decriminalization laws towards hard substances. CW: hard drugs, substance abuse and cocaine mention. On Friday, March 26 at the bi-quarterly Brewery and Soft Drink Conference, Coca Cola CEO James Quincey announced that they will

  7. I have always had a bit of a temper , I am part Portuguese ,And Spain in my blood, combined with swede, Welch, i seem to have a inner fight LOL, I'm very dark ,Sometimes people can be mean ,Racism never goes away, I do however believe that does not matter , It is what God thinks that matters .We all have these inner Negative issues, Give them to the Lord , Thank you Chosen for helping me better understand the Gospel.

  8. Steven DeNoon said when translating the New Testament that Jesus did not say, “One of you will betray me.” His actual words were, “One of you must SELL me.” Now this man who was made out as the betrayer of Jesus, was only obeying the request of the Master. Where none of the other disciples wanted that mission, Judas took it because Jesus requested it. Judas didn’t realize it would literally mean Jesus would be killed. When he knew this he hanged himself. Suicide is not the act of one who is a betrayer.
