Nearly all redemption is preceded by a crisis. Today we filmed a scene based on Dallas’s experience with failure before God redeemed it.

About The Author

The Chosen WHY A TV SERIES ABOUT JESUS? We've been making movies for some of the biggest studios in Hollywood for 20 years. But a subject this important shouldn't be entrusted to Hollywood. It needs to be made by us. Isaiah 43:19 says, "Behold, I am doing a new thing..." The Chosen is a new thing. * How it was financed is new: We're the #1 highest crowd-funded media project of all time -- over $10 million from over 19,000 people. * The content is new: We're the first-ever multi-season show about the life of Christ. * The way to watch it is new: We're the first show to have our own app that connects directly to your streaming devices. No subscription needed. Just search "The Chosen" where you get apps and download to your phone. * How it's reaching the world is new: The show is free, but by "paying it forward," you help ensure people around the world can see it -- we're currently in every country. Welcome to a new thing!

  1. Dallas, your love and appreciation for your cast and crew is amazing! I think the vital thing to get out of season two is the fact that yeah, we all mess up, the devil likes to make us think because we mess up, God is done with us and season two will show He's not and He never will be. Great job and thank you for following God's plan for this series!

  2. May God bless, provide and protect ALL involved with The Chosen! Thank you all for your "yes" to participate in this world changing series. You all have blessed us beyond words! You are in our daily prayers for your sacrifice, your desire to portray this journey, and most of all for your "yes"!

  3. Hi Dallas, thank you to you and all of your team for bringing Jesus to us in this way. May I respectfully ask that in the wake of all the pain associated with Ravi Zacharias right now, that you guys take down the video of his endorsement? This is not judgement, but rather to be sensitive to those who were victims and to not want to tarnish this amazingly powerful ministry with an association with someone who fell under satan's spell and tarnished what our King and Saviour gave His life for. I hope you hear my heart. Blessings and gratitude to you all!

  4. I see how cold you all are there, and I got to say you guys are amazing! The things you need to go through to make the "good news" come to life. Clearly, I see God's hand on this. Thank you! I do pray for you and the success of this show. Coz it not just your success, not just our (the fans) success, but bringing the Glory to our Dear God . . . God Bless you!

  5. Thank you Austin for doing that scene with no modern warm shoes and no warm jacket! I hope you know by now how impactful that scene was for so so many people. So thank you for giving your passion and energy and comfort!

Thank you crew for having that warm van ready for him!

  6. If the habit is the same color at the end of the service as it was as when you sarted it…then you have already messed up by living under some cult leaders control…Time to prefer a belief in life before death, your body is an amusement part and not a temple..so enjoy the ride. Real prophets like Moses and Jeremiah are clothed should look brown and shiny…and remember, something that might not happen isn't a guarantee, but experiences and adventures will stay with you. Also remember: It all comes out in the wash. Put your hooded cloak on spin…
