Worship Vocalist | – How to Sing "Great Are You Lord" (All Sons & Daughters)

Hey worship vocalists! Here are some tips on how to sing one of my ABSOLUTE favourite songs: “Great Are You Lord” by All Sons & Daughters.

Check out this video for tips on how to:
– sing the chorus powerfully and fully without reaching and straining for the notes
– sing in a contemporary, authentic, conversational tone
– create a journey so that the song builds powerfully in the bridge
– sound GOOD! 🙂

  1. Thank you. I am enjoying watching your videos. When singing I don't often have a problem belting or singing loudly or with a lot of power. However, I often find it difficult singing more slowly and softly for example the beginning of this song…"you give life, you are love…" Another example would be the beginning to the song "Spirit of the Living God" (btw I would love if you could do a tutorial on that song 🙂 I'm not sure if I am using too much breath or if I'm singing in the wrong key (too low for me) or perhaps not pushing down enough or maybe not enough resonance.? Thanks. God bless your ministry! 🙂

  2. I have a quick question for singing in general. I have always been afraid to sing high notes when it gets big. I think it's the fear of cracking but it a stumbling block that I want to overcome so then I'm not afraid to sing for the Lord anymore.
