WorshipMob | – Giving In | WorshipMob Original by Claudia Martinez & Cara Summer

Official Music Video for “Giving In” a WorshipMob original by Claudia Martinez & Cara Summer

“This song is written out of a place of transition. A season of change. In the past year, a lot had changed for me- friends, where I lived, who I was surrounded by, and what I prioritized. In my personal life, it felt as if there was a war between me and Jesus, because I wasn’t fully giving in and giving Him my full heart- my friends, my priority, my everything. Luckily, God wins. He wins every war. He’s fully won every part of me.” – Claudia

“Jesus, thank you for being faithful to me when I am unfaithful. Thank you for remembering when I forget. For loving me when I am stumble. I choose to give you my all and I pray that everyone who worships with our heart’s cry in this song enters into a place of complete surrender to you and feels your tangible love cover them like a weighted blanket. Amen.” – Cara

Giving In by Claudia Martinez & Cara Summer

Lyrics:

You have led me through the fire
and I’ve made it safe this far
Oh I sing ‘You’re my desire’
but You know the hidden parts
You meet me in the hiding
You’re the one who knows the idols of my heart
You pursue me in the moment
Even when my choices are tearing me apart

So why is there a war to give You all of me
When you love me like you do
and I know you like I do

So this one’s for you
I’m giving it in, I’m giving it all to you
Even if it’s just this moment
I’m coming in now, I’m coming in

You stuck with me in the low tides
Even when I turned from your face
When I came back desperate, abandoned, nake, and afraid
I looked into your eyes
You told me You had never turned away
You saw me at my lowest
You’re the only one who always chose to stay

  1. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand that he may lift you up in due time.” (1 Peter 5:6)

If we submit our life to God and let him take control, we will be blessed on his timing.God created the “UNIVERSE!” How could our timing be better than his!

  2. This song comes in a time where I'm at one of the most crucial points of my life. Either I've to fully give in to Jesus or it's game over for He has extended grace and has been patient with me beyond measure. Thank you WorshipMob, Claudia & Cara for this song. I can feel the burning in the center of my heart as I listen to this song. This song is a blessing to me and to many more who listen in.

  3. There are some songs, some “performances” that, in their understated nature, convey more truth & honest humanity, touched by the divinity & grace of God, than it seems possible. This is one of those songs. One of those times.

Cara – you are quite literally pitch perfect. The love for Jesus that shines from your face transforms you from merely great to exquisite. It is truly a privilege to listen to & watch you worship. I could do so for hours. I could rock with you & I could ballad with you – you are beautiful in your love for your Saviour.

Claudia – my heart weeps for you. I read the back story for your song. You are young – but if you truly learn the lesson of the season of change through which you have recently passed, you will mature into someone with profound compassion for the wounded & broken. “You’re the only one who always chose to stay” Feeling abandoned is the most wounding of all emotional traumas. I know. Abandonment has followed me through my life – but here is the truth (thanks to Steffanie Gretzinger).
“No one ever cared for me like Jesus
His faithful hand has held me all this way
And when I'm old and grey
And all my days are numbered on the earth
    Let it be known
    in you alone…”
He knows you Claudia – keep gazing into His eyes…

Aaron – I know your range. I know your style. Brother – this simple, dialled back vocal performance is the best I have heard from you. You provide a honeyed vocal foundation which brings such richness.

I missed this live. But I have just listened to it back to back 7/8 times while I wrote this.
    This is reflective.
    This is authentic.
    This is vulnerable humanity.
    This is worship.

    ❤️

  4. Beautiful song…..love it ..my best songs are Yeshua and Adonai …
God bless u girls ..you are doing a great job for our Lord Jesus…but ..hmm why this nosering…I know God look at our heart not appearance but still why??

  5. This one is so personal. I can relate to giving it all even just for the moment. We get so caught up in the worldly things that we sometimes forget to give it all to Jesus. Thank you for another masterpiece. Cara, Claudia, you both sound heavenly!! ❤❤❤
