Bethel Music | – Just Like Heaven – Brandon Lake | House Of Miracles [Official Music Video]

Just Like Heaven” was written after I had a very simple but powerful revelation that when we’re in the presence of God we’re getting a taste of what heaven and eternity is going to be like. When you get a taste of heaven, you will want more. We were made for eternity. That’s where I want to live. We don’t have to wait until heaven to experience it — God wants to bring heaven to earth. 1. I listen to a LOT of Christian songs be it worshiping, uplifting, fun, soft, or other adjectives such music could convey. This song…this one brought me to tears…MANY TIMES, overwhelming me in its revelation. The raw, innocent, desperate emotion and desire in it is indescribable. The softness of the beginning mimicking the quietness of the soul when the Holy Spirit falls on you. As the lyrics increase in volume and tone, it represents the desperation of our spirit desiring that close presence of the Lord to be longer and greater. The repetition of lyrics demonstrates that that’s all your soul knows to say over and over in reverence, “I can’t get enough of you, please stay.” Personally, one of the best parts is the birds throughout it. It gives the impression of peacefulness and serenity, which is what heaven will be like. All I can say is thank you, Brandon Lake (and the others), for welcoming the presence of the Lord so that you could create this song of art. <3

  2. I just love this song I can hear this song all day long just like I feel that’s how I will be with God to be with him all day long and I believe that’s the way it’s going to be in Heaven all of the Us together all day long.

  3. I was a boy that was falling away from God even tho i went to church, My parents told me the world is soon gonna end, The devil was telling me i didnt have the holy spirit, im trying to either get it or refill just in case, The devil will remind u of ur past remind him of ur future, Jesus Touch this comment section and everyone who doesnt know u Lord, Save me and Save others God, Forgive me Lord of the wrong choices i did Lord! In Jesus Name

  4. Am I the only one not seeing this as actual praise? This definitely feels like empty self-serving noise and I think the video only confirms my impression. I’m grateful so many could find some solace in it, but it’s definitely not for me or genuine worship, in my opinion.

  5. The amazing thing is Jesus layed down the highest of treasures to have us enter heavens gates!!! With His own life… something we can't or are capable of doing in this flesh. He did for all humanity!! Glory to our God alone!!!!
