Christian Journal | – The World Will Hate You!
If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. But all these things they will do to you on account of my name, because they do not know him who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have been guilty of sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates me hates my Father also. If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin, but now they have seen and hated both me and my Father. But the word that is written in their Law must be fulfilled: ‘They hated me without a cause.’ John 15:18-25

It can feel lonely, can't it? I think of Christ, the night before he died, when I think He seemed to feel so alone:
'Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, THOU SHALT DENY ME thrice.
Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.

Keyboard warfare has it's place. It's another medium for sharing our faith. You can talk to people on the street or talk to people in a forum. Either way, you are talking to people and sharing the gospel.

You are so right brother. You helped to reconfirm for me a lot of things I have gone through and had to look back to see, that I was really being persecuted for standing up for Jesus and my beliefs. God bless you and your family.

Drinking IS wrong..you are correct! Why do you all think the name for alcohol is ‘spirits’? It’s not the friendly kind of spirit.
Oh! And very invigorating…love it, need it. We have to be strong and with a steel spine, stand tall and proclaim the truth wherever, whenever we can. There is a storm coming and some hearts may fail for fear. You’re a blessing and a great anchor in the Word.
